It is pretty cool to watch you play the genesis. I'm someone who is 23 and never grew up with the master system, genesis and Saturn but something bought me towards getting them and after getting those three I been watching your guys videos a lot ( your pretty much my role model haha ) one of goals is to know just as much of the master system through Saturn ( the genesis is my favorite of the 3 ) as someone who grew up with them
Thanks to everdrives hours of research, hours of getting my butt whopped by games and then being able to beat them, and your show I feel like I'm getting up there. Keep up the good work guys
And when you talked about the genesis 3 button controller I prefer it using on the master system when its not being used on the master system its a dedicated forgotten world controller.

The Thunder Force series had some of the best music in all of 16 bit gaming. It was the reason early Genesis models had a built in headphone jack. Back then, I could spend hours just sitting there listening to its musical score (Especially TF2)
Man I wish I watched this live. Thunderforce 3 was one of my absolute favorites as a freshman in high school. This stream seriously took me a ways back

Thunder Force IV is a beast of a game in terms of overall difficulty.
Thunder Force IV...oh boy what a masterpiece. Even on "easy" it's hard to beat but totally possible if you know the enemy patterns. After all it's 16-Bit gaming at it's finest.
Dude, thunderforce! I played the hell out of that game on my genesis I got from my cousin in the early 90’s. Very satisfying gameplay.
I hope you keep doing these more often, I really enjoy them.
I am not a fan of shooters but my god this game is brilliant. I got number 2 for Christmas when it came out.

I always felt like the thunder force 2 overhead levels were rehashed for Herzog Zwei and made better.
I knew I wasn't alone in liking Thunderforce 2! I hve a particular quirk when I play this game: I refuse to lose a life. If I do, I restart the game from the beginning until i beat the game. FAILURE IS NOT AN OPTION! :)))

I also enjoyed Thunder Force V for Saturn, not as good as III or IV but a very good game.
I also like the overhead stages. If they ever make another Thunder Force game, it would be nice if they brought them back with a map that shows the area you explored so you don't get lost (I do know that the Sharp X68000 has maps). I feel that getting lost on those stages may be the main/only reason they stopped using overhead stages after the 2nd game.

always gutted thunderforce 3 never made it to the uk even though they designed the artwork and manual layouts for it and i think their's an exceptionally obscure german release thats basically a modified us cart.
Hm, my 4th stage of ThunderForce II seems faster. Maybe that's just because I'm not playing and so not twitching at each obstacle, or maybe it's because of the Framemeister?
