Her words in this song are soo exact, so true, and yes us girls shouldn't ever ever have to go through this but we do and we do over and over again and then we are "shamed" if we speak up.. and we live with shame from a hateful crime that we didn't even commit... Somedays I can't stand even being a female due to the harassment that is pitched and it hasn't stopped.. its every day no matter what we look like..Thank you Leyla Blue for this song and putting it out there for awareness!

My best friend from high school needs to hear this song . Those opening likes hit home for me and I’m just a man on the outside of the situation ...wishing I could of been there to protect my friend from what Sounds like a similar situation , to this day I’m still ashamed of the actions of my fellow me , these men to the innocence from an angel , popular enough in a small town and daddies to cover the consequences my dearest friend was taken complete advantage of while under the influence . While previously being the topic of conversation due to drunken mistakes a real man would of helped our lady friend instead of leading her into the lions den . Feeling anger and utter discus After hearing the news I was then shown the clothes she was wearing that night by her mother and sister as they begged me to tell them what happened I’m promised I would find out who did it and testify against them . As I’m sure you can guess the popular boys were star football players and wealthy . No chargers were held and no crime committed , the boys walked free , my friend was slut shamed until she finally went on homeschool . Me and this friend don’t talk speak anymore but she’s married and happy . Thank you for your voice and sharing it with the world . I believe you will help many young women and hopefully help shape little bows into respectful men 🙏
