  • The Song of Hope - Composition, Kamancheh and Kamancheh alto by Tohid Vahid.
The idea accompanying the piece by Tohid Vahid:
"Life is the unique stage of our artistry,
Everyone singing his own song and leaves the stage,
    The scene continuously abides,
Blessed those songs that are retained by the folks.

People may not know this but Violin is also a Persian instrument and it used to be played the same way .....it was taken to Italy where they made a modification and played under the chin ....drawings of this instrument good back 850 years ago in Persian paintings... Kamanche, a beautiful name for an instrument...WONDERFUL 💘

@@petrut.1224 Iranian Kamancheh is a very ancient instrument, in a way it's the ancester of violon with much similarities. The kamancheh and the violin are tuned in the same way and have the same range but different timbres due to their differing sound boxes.

@@pantheakian9179 Indeed. It's really fascinating to find these instruments, totally different from the classical, symphonic approach used very frequently in the western culture.
