“Quieter than Silence” began with a friendship, beyond stereotypes and political conflicts between an Iranian and a Syrian, in Bucharest.
Quieter than Silence music is a synergy between: ney, setar, oud, kamancheh, Iranian percussion, vocal and double bass.

I hear this song on a fb video. Hearing at once; it melts my heart when i don’t even know the language.. Just felt the music the pain..true from of music❤
This is my favorite of the album. Every time I watch Mehdi sing it, I feel like singing it with tear. This is a lullaby for everyone who travels in between, with despair, longing for destination. Thank you!

This song is nothing short from a tribute to the millions of children crossing the Mediterranean, Balcans,and the Mexican southern border, US-MX wall, or fleeing sweat-shops in Southeast Asia, plantations and mines in Africa and India or being abducted by militias to use them as soldiers. Tens of millions of children enduring undescribable fear, pain and vulnerability.
Fear, pain and vulnerability that, many of us well-fed, soft adults would probably not be capable of enduring and yet, being nowhere nearly as precious as they are...all in all I praise you NOT to give this song to US.
I praise you for at least -I hope- having a chance to sing it to some of THOSE CHILDREN.
