Gave fishing up quite a few years back due to other engagements (marriage) lol, divorced now so you have helped light the flame again, cheers for that Darren. Always liked to fish without a lot of bodies around, like the peace and quiet. Thanks for the vids mate, really enjoy them.
Hi Tony, your more than welcome. I have been in your situation also. Fishing never leaves you. I need to be near the sea to be happy. I hope you get yourself out there. All the best.
My dad was from Hendon and he used to fish off that pier on that side in 1960s he had all his gear washed off into the sea once. Always mentioned it when we used to go fishing off roker pier 😂
@@northeastangling I try!! Actually, I got the original idea from Graeme pullan (ta fishing) then added colour coding .. I'm a bugger for simplifying things, lol
2 hook flappers or 2 hook clipped down for distance is all you need on there unless the sea is well away then the good owld pully rig does the buisness for me mate. Great video, Tigh lines.
Cheers Sandman. I shall return and get a good session eventually. Great to be out though. Thanks for watching. Enjoyed you videos too bud. No nonsense, solid advice. All the best and Tight Lines 😊
Last time I was in Hendon was years ago building a school and my mates car got pinched lol. Least you didn't blank mate and Im old school I prefer a rig wallet .
It was a life saver. Rig wallet for the rockends for me Sid but I do like the boxes for easy marks. Tight lines mate, hope the man flu has cleared up 👍
Hi Gilly. Codling, Bass, Coalfish, Flounder , Dabs, and possibly mackerel in the Autumn. It's not a mark I know very well, but it is very popular . Thank you for watching. Tight lines 👍
Its a fish and it saves the blank. Is it just me or does the sound a multiplier makes as you cast a lead make you just want to get the gear in the back of the car? Fixed spool anglers must miss it
Hi Neil, firstly thank you for watching. I appreciate every single person who puts their time aside to watch. Your spot on, the sound of the multi paying line is like a salty choir singing a sea shanty!
It wasn't the best Malcolm 🤣. I enjoyed it though as usual. I have seen some nice fish from there just pot luck. Thank you for the watch and comment. Tight lines 👍

Looks like it has plenty of history Kev. Apparently it's really good to the left of the pier but it's owned by the port and you can't fish it. Shame!
Loving the vids Darren keep em coming
Thank you Kev. Not the greatest of the fish front but that's fishing! 👍
I like the rig winder idea, but I used pipe lagging? Have 12 inch lengths, colour coded for hook size and snood length !
Great idea Dave 💡 👍

Better than a blank Micky, well done 👍. It's that odd time of year. Thank you for watching. I appreciate it.

Rig winders save a lot of time
I agree! Although lately I confess to taking a couple of rigs in zip bags to save space. Thanks for watching 👍

I’ve lived in Sunderland coming up 7yrs about 3 mile from the prom and the only thing I’ve caught off Hendon is cold
