She’s lean, green, and a growing machine. Since it has roots, I will ensure to add liquid fertilizer to the water once a month but continue to replace water with fresh water every week. Now in my case, my monstera was a rescue with many damaged leaves and stems, so my choice was to chop and save what I could. If your monstera is just root bound but overall healthy, consider either soaking the root ball to help with easing those roots apart OR you can just leave root ball as is and go up a pot one to two inches bigger. OR YOU a CAN CHOP BECAUSE ITS YOUR PLANT! Don’t be afraid to try many methods.
Thanks for making me starting over with my Monsteras. There where molded in substrate, it's been the second week in water now and it feels so refreshing to see them being new babies. Love your energy, your engagement in showing us how to save our plants and how to let them grow healthy. 😍🪴🌞 And of course I'm infected with the "BeefFever" and my cactea are growing so well. Team BigBeefs! 🤣🖖🙌
I just started growing my own mostera from seed in October 2022 and let me tell you she is gorgeous darling. I put them under a glass cup to make a dome. One of the seed is thriving more than the other and her roots are banging. I just moved them under grow lights with a lid to promote more healthy growth. My window sill is just to cold for her this winter
Aaah, awesome! I believe in you! I have found myself lurking in these housplant youtube corners, but I'm more of a garden-plants type of person. I like the usefulness and the faster growth. I've had a lot of luck propagating mint cuttings in water so far! They like a lot of light, though, I don't know how well mine are going to do as indoor plants.
Omg! I’ve never been so early before! Thank you for all your plant mom advice it’s really helped me and the people I clean for cuz I pass on the things I learn from you and they all have lots of different plants. And since I’m there so often I try to help keep all the greenery alive and well and you’re to thank for that! Sending ❤ hope all is well
Oh honey please protect those elbows when you’re coming down on those pots. Believe me when I say getting old is hard but harder when you’ve inflicted invisible damage. I regret being so hard on myself. Better yet get yourself a small rubber mallet. Great job on that monstera
I got some sort of tropical plant from Walmart for $5 (at least they said it was a tropical plant). It was in pretty good shape when I got it, but sometimes I forget to water it for long periods of time. I think it's doing OK though, because it has some new growth and the leaves are a vibrant green and not droopy.
Hi i love yr videos. I live in Australia and its bloody hot here ATM, I've just started with indoor plants. I have a bathroom with a huge window, it gets the afternoon sun. I've got a few plants and their growing really well. I watched yr videos on, growing in water. I've rescued a lilly plant from outside, everytime it grew a new leaf it was either attacked by pests or sunburnt. Anywho, I dug it up, washed the roots and popped into a glass vase/bowl. Its looking good, its only been 2 weeks. I know I'm super to change water weekly but am not sure how I go about once a month feeding. So happy with the plants growing in water. Thanks✌😊🌻
Finally i found u in my reels again I swear missed ur videos I even forgot about them , u maybe not my type but I love ur vibes so much and i love plants too
I used a tropical plant mix on my adansonii and the leaves are starting to yellow.... I think I'm going to switch to a succulent mix and try water wicking 🤞🤞
Me encanta tu sentido del humor al igual que la forma que nos das ideas para mantener y crecer y protejer nuestras plantas!! 🌷🌻🌹🌿❤keep the videos coming!!
You are so funny!!!! “You grow girl” I yell this at my monsters all the time!!! And it was one of your videos where you chopped up your monstera that totally gave me the confidence to chop mine of 3+ years…..he was looking SO SAD (due to my neglect of wanting to travel and constantly leaving him) but it came to a do or die moment so I did and now I have 8+ new POTENTIAL growth points! And my original main stalk/root, just got a new nub!!!!! I totally don’t regret chopping him!
I want to know where you go to rescue all these plants from? Since coming here from Germany I’m always stunt how expensive plants and flowers are in the states. It is so nice to see all your plants in your house! ❤❤❤❤
I sure feel like I act the same way when talking to my plants 😂 thanks I enjoy you allot, have you ever thought of selling your propagations at the Saturday market?
my cat absolutely DESTROYED my poor monstera. now all I have left is the nub in the pot and a whole stalk with a few leaves. I cut up the stalk, making sure each section had some of whatever leaves remained, and now I'm trying my best to see if anything will come of it. I'm very new to plant ownership, and this monstera was my first plant. I hope I can regrow some part of it and keep it alive
I need you to help me with our monsteras at my work 🥲🥲 I’ve done everything but they are so sad still!! Do you have any tips? They have some crunchy leave tips but they’re both big mama plants and it hurts my heart to see them hurting!!
It's not huge, but I'm proud I've managed to get some store bought and cold-packaged celery to root. 😅 My boyfriend is worried I might get carried away with propagating pants 🤣
I have to wonder if the monsteras would be doing just a bit better if they hadn't been subject to the most electrifying move in sports/plants entertainment.🧐
Waiting for the day the Plant Army she amassed realizes their colonel is actually a human and the chlorophyll wars begins. Hopefully they will grant her amnesty for all the good deeds she did them, but after seeing the people’s elbow in action, I think this may be a John Connor/Kyle Reese situation.

Can you do a care video on a Panda plant or panda cactus💕 I bought one today and I wanna make sure I care for it correctly ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Great info. Learning so much from your channel. ❤️👍💯
Can you do one on the care of your burgundy plant please😢
"Unintelligible": Krystal's secret Monstera language.🤣😂🤣😂
Girl! You inspire me to be a better plant mom, but dayum, how do you have the time?!?!
one of the best vlogger who give effective care tips in growing and rescuing plants.
"the nubbins were just nubbin"
😂
You’re my favorite person in the internet 😢❤
The people's elbow 💀
Not the people’s elbow 😂

That's great. So you have been working on this project for a year now. Just wondering how big your baby is?
@@vickykent353 they only have like 4 leaves on each plant. Not very big but super healthy
@@MadalaneBodenMay they thrive this Spring/Summer!! So cool
My nubbins grew into an incredible plant!! It’ll get there in no time
✨️✨️ I love your content so much 🩷🩷
I just picked up a mint, rosemary, basil, and a sage plant. I'm hoping I can keep them alive

I’ve had the most success growing those in dirt outside! Have fun
I always love getting these updates! Thank you for bringing plant filled joy to our lives! ❤️🌱

You have taught me so much about plants! I appreciate your friendly and easy-to-understand approach! Keep blooming girl ❤
SO many beautiful BABIES!💜💚
Thx for the update!!
The plant 🪴 is going to look amazing 👏 😍.
If she can give plants a glow up like this when they are dying it gives me hope anything is possible even for me
I want a monstra so bad! Our Walmart never has them, so I'm gonna try Lowe's! You are the plant whisperer, I swear! 💚🪴
WOW!! Your Aloë looks great too!!
Taking green fingers to a whole nother level 🍃
YOUR CHANNEL LIFTS MY HEART! a house full iof plants is as close to heAven we can get on earth!

My new favorite channel!

Great job on that monstera
😅 I’m 28 and I’ve learned this too late. An entire youth of clumsiness has caught up to my joints.
But hitting things hard is fun.. (You’re right..)
Girlll you are magical ✨ I love ittt 💙

Krystal, baby, I saw that Ficus Elastica back there... HELP!!! 😂 I have one and it's still alive but it's seen better days. Your plants look gorgeous!
I used a tropical plant mix on my adansonii and the leaves are starting to yellow.... I think I'm going to switch to a succulent mix and try water wicking 🤞🤞
Don't do that, it's normal for adansonii to get some yellow leaves after repotting. Succulent mix is not at all what you want for aroids.
Me encanta tu sentido del humor al igual que la forma que nos das ideas para mantener y crecer y protejer nuestras plantas!! 🌷🌻🌹🌿❤keep the videos coming!!
Gracias por tu mensaje tan linda! Will do! Thank you for watching 💚

I felt that "you grow girl". I needed it too thanks 🥹
Man she amazing 👏👏👏👏👏👏
You're so great with rehabs

It is so nice to see all your plants in your house! ❤❤❤❤
How to not forget how she wrestled that plant out of that pot 😂
Oh my goodness, You Are Awesome!!! ❤👍🏻🌱🪴
Awesome, Krystal!!! 💃🏾💃🏾💃🏾
Oh that gorgeous rubber plant!! Will you talk about it sometime?
YOU GROW GIRL!!
Ommmggg now seeing the update HAHA! I’m in love!
This short just made me subscribe 😂
YOU GROW GIRL😤💅✨
Love ur shorts❤
Just shows how tough these plants are.
I love watching your videos 😅❤❤

Krystal. girl. You’re my favorite.
P.S. I “shimmied my soil” while planting a couple days ago and laughed to myself. We know😂
Humidititties! That’s what me and my friend say when we put our plants under a cloche 😂
Great job love!
When I had the nubs, I buried them completely under the soil.. grew like a charm and I had a brand new plant!
I like the way you do that right there...😊
Any tips for a browning/wilting mini banana tree?
Hahaaaa the peoples elbow 😂😂😂
I love this
Wow 💚💚💚💚
I have a sad looking monstera, I'm going to try it in water.
Water did wonders for mine! I barely touch it now
RUclips knows me well because I did the same EXACT thing last week with a monstera I found at lowes. Originally $16 I got it for $5
What soil did you put them in???
The peoples elbow 🤣🤣
now i need to add the people's elbow to my rootbound removal move set
I’m glad plants don’t feel pain because by golly some of them would be screaming
did you add any nutrients in that water ? how they grew without minerals???
❤❤❤
❤❤
Plant rescue people are my SUOER HERO'S.
I need you to help me with our monsteras at my work 🥲🥲 I’ve done everything but they are so sad still!! Do you have any tips? They have some crunchy leave tips but they’re both big mama plants and it hurts my heart to see them hurting!!
I always spray the roots of mine with peroxide during water changes.
I need a new update!
Very nice 👌.
It's not huge, but I'm proud I've managed to get some store bought and cold-packaged celery to root. 😅 My boyfriend is worried I might get carried away with propagating pants 🤣
The people's elbow 🤣
I really really want a monstera but my family calls me the plant murderer soooooo 😢
Totally stressed it out at the start. 😮😂
I have to wonder if the monsteras would be doing just a bit better if they hadn't been subject to the most electrifying move in sports/plants entertainment.🧐
Thumbs up alone for the peoples elbow 😂
❤
You grow girl 🤣🤣🤣🤣
✌️🙃💚🇦🇺
You need to watch or be friends with #GrowWithJessie!
I love you hahaha!!!!
I have to ask, how long does it take to care for all your plants in a day?!
Very nice
I have a question! since you put a lot of your plants in vases with water, is it good or bad if algae starts forming in the vases?
i read different viewpoints but if you do what she did - wash the base completely and new water each week, it should not be any issue
The unintelligible pep talk is what I now do to my struggling plants 🤣
Where did you find that vase
Were you using soap and water to clean the container between water changes? I think that’s what I saw but want to make sure :)
Can plants not get root rot just sitting in water I’m just curious I don’t know much about plants but I love ur page
Hiiii, how can we tell when NOT to start fresh...which plants wont take?
Waiting for the day the Plant Army she amassed realizes their colonel is actually a human and the chlorophyll wars begins. Question:with the plant you put in a dome, how does it not suffocate?
(Sorry if this is a dumb question)
"You grow girl!" 🤣🥹
