I could watch camplife forever, there is nothing better than a fire, a pot of something yummi simmering above it, and some tools put to work!👍 Those steaming sheets...I know who's going to research Planar 2D Heaters. There is always a project to kick off after a trip, which is before the next trip, hehe... Wishing you guys a all the best, until the next upload, take care and cheers from Switzerland🙂👋🤙
Just binge watched 1,2 and 3 with my wife and we are itching to get Elsie our old T4 Westfalia camper back into exploration mode again. You have definitely stirred our enthusiasm for Scandinavia, thanks for a whole range of terrific videos. Some of the most watchable on You Tube in my humble opinion. Stay safe and hopefully the World will open up again sometime in 2021, vaccines and all that stuff permitting.
Cheers Tony and Deb! I think Scandinavia is the perfect place for a campervan, especially if you have a diesel heater. Hopefully I'll be able to get back up that way this year 👍.
Haggis, falukorv (sasuage from Falun), norrlandsguld... hehe awesome 😁💪👌. That game camera is fun to use. At our hunting ground at Southern part of Gästrikland, close to Dalälven, we have a complete moose explosion and have had for years. No need for camera to get a good view of them. However, we use camera anyway at outpaced salt stones. This give us a good picture of what to expect at the property. Status of moose's, wildboars etc. Cheers!
@@Braapncamp I was just watching your hunting video, looks like fun! Where does the meat end up? I looked for it in supermarkets but couldn't find it, I'm guessing the hunting groups just share it amongst themselves?
@@Adventure-Outdoors We share it even within the hunting team. But some sell their part to friend or the food market. This time of year You should be able to find moose meat in "Ica supermarkets", but it is pricey. My self get a half moose in the freezer every year, after we have packed down ours in pieces. Right now in this moment I have lasagna made of moose in my lunch box. Monday I ate chilli on moose, Tuesday I ate stew on moose. And this is from last years share. I've not begun on this years moose share 😂. It' nice to eat fish and chicken and other stuff too, but I love moose and never get tired of it. 👌💪
Amazing videos …. Love em …. We must have nearly crossed paths cos we were up there in September 2019….. booked the Hull to Rotterdam ferry last week for first week in September….. £680 return which I thought was decent …. Going for 3 weeks, definitely going to the Lofoten isles this time and possibly Nordkapp although it might be to far, we’ll see ….. see you up there, I’ll supply the beer 😂
Thanks for inspiring us to start exploring Sweden, really enjoyed this series. Also, the format is excellent! No "like-and-subscribe" nonsense, hit the bell icon, flashy intros or advertisements. Granted, you do advertise the beers, but we forgive you... Cheers! 🍻🤣
Nearly through all of your channels videos for the second time very binge worthy especially the last trip to Norway Sweden 👌. Hopefully buying a Hilux this year. Just wondering Is your Hilux auto or manual. And has there been any mechanical problems during any of your trips that I can keep an eye out for in the future. Keep up the great video work.👍
David J McIntyre Cheers! My Hilux is the manual 3ltr version, no mechanical problems at all. It’s only done 50k miles but most of those miles have been on road trips, they are solid trucks, perfect for overlanding. Good luck with your travels 👍.
Very enjoyable set of videos. Did you ever find a moose? Any recommended resources for route planning and places to camp? Hope you found a solution to a damp tent - did you try a diesel heater?
Cheers Simon, I only saw one moose! I didn't really use any resources to plan the trip, just highlighted locations on google earth to create a route. It was easy to find a place to camp most nights, there's miles of forest roads that you can legally drive on and camp. I still haven't bought a diesel heater, but I think ill get one for the next trip 👍
Cheers Leo! Mileage I estimate to be around 2300, 1300 just to get from Rotterdam to Hirtshals and back and probably just under a thousand miles through Norway and Sweden. As a very rough estimate I'd say diesel costs were somewhere around £650-700.
@@Adventure-Outdoors that's ideal thanks, it's always best to ask someone who's actually done it rather than guessing. I'm looking to do some similar trips in the future but more likely be in the summer to start with, all the best.
Hi - we've been following your fabulous adventures for a couple of years and - inspired by your trips - are now planning our own Scandinavian adventure. What SatNav do you recommend for Norway/Sweden which covers roads and unmade, but legally accessible, tracks? Many thanks!
Hi, thanks for watching! I used an old Garmin satnav and Google earth/maps for my Scandinavian trips - not ideal to be honest. I've used the Wikiloc app in the past to find routes in Spain and Portugal but a lot of folk are using an app called GAIA gps these days. I've never used it but Mike over at workshop wilderness adventures uses it to navigate off road routes in northern Sweden so it might be worth a look, here's the link 👍 - www.gaiagps.com/offroad/
Hi mate, it's a Snow Peak fire pit, here's where I bought it from - www.drifta.eu/product/firepit-large-luke-drifta/ I also done a review - ruclips.net/video/qClTVWRrYBM/видео.html
slap me in the face with a wet kipper, of course get half log dig it into the ground and use that a base for chopping wood, ahhh, so bloomin obvious :) thanks for sharing, sorry it come to and end. Look forward to more. G.

Cheers 👍, much appreciated. Yep those sheets were really damp, I think I'll have to get a diesel heater for next time, it'll be luxury!

Cheers! Yeah the Hull ferry is reasonable, it'll be some drive all the way up north but I reckon it'll be worth it, especially to see Lofoten 👍
Another great series, loved the little reviews hahahahaa. SMH in the wild told us he seen u, he will love the shout out. He had ALOT of snow days!
Cheers Stephen, yeah it looked like they had it cold up there! 👍

Have you thought about using a diesel heater to heat the roof tent in winter? Leave it outside and run a tube up to the tent 👍🏼
Aye I've had a look at a few, my mate has a sub £100 Chinese made heater, seems to work fine. I might pick one up for my next winter trip 👍
another great video and adventure. hows the truck doing?
Cheers Nell! Truck is doing well 👍
Enjoyed the ride along, looks cold. Did you ever try a Silky Saw. There razor sharp and come in a bunch of sizes, all the way up to 500mm.
Cheers! Yeah I'm currently looking at getting a Silky Saw, they seem to be highly regarded 👍
What the make of the folding fire pit ,,great videos mate ..
