There isn't anything more accurate than a Genelec speaker, especially the higher-end models. That's why you'll be able to find them in the most prestigious recording studios in the world.
Agree with you! Mostly I like the sound of bookshelf speakers more than the sound of the "large" ones, but there are exceptions of the rule.😊😉😊😁 Ich stimme dir zu! Meistens gefällt mir der Klang von Regallautsprechern besser als der Klang der „ganz Großen“, aber es gibt Ausnahmen von der Regel.😊😉😊😁

I really hope Genelec improves their availability issues in the PNW region in the US. A lot of us audiophiles would love to hear demos and buy Genelecs, but alas! The listed distributers never have any of the models you want to experience, and their proposed solution is "pay full price and I ship you a used Genelec speaker which is closest to the model you want) and then if you like it I will put an order for that model that you actually want. Oufff! I ended up getting B&W's instead. Far superior service.

The videos are very good, however, if you were to use a fixed pair of microphones the audio quality would be much better. It would then represent what things sound like to a listener in the room. Thank you for the ongoing work, it is much appreciated.
With just one subwoofer the issue that you can very clearly here the location of the bass though. It makes the low frequencies sound unbalanced/very mono. For single subwoofer it would be best to have low frequency set at 40 hz and have speakers do everything above that. But most reasonably priced Genelec speakers don't reach down to 40 hz. 40 hz would make the subwoofer audible location disappear. Genelec subwoofers seem to mainly hard cut it at 85 hz which is also against the common cut of 80 hz that has been for eons the best frequency to cut at. With SVS subwoofer you can cut it off at any level you want from 22 - 120 hz, it's not limited to hard cut off like Genelec. Would expect 1000 euros subwoofer to have options to choose cut off like all the other subwoofers at this price point do, except Genelec.

This gray raw model is a rarer color. The main colors are black, gray and white. You can also use special colors, but it is limited to smaller genelecs. I myself here in Finland listen to the 8340 models in my living room and it is really enjoyable to hear any music or speech, or even you tube ads even authentically with these. Genelec speakers is an omnivorous power monster that eats all music and the glm sounds even better when adjusted fine. It is absolutely worth modifying glm adjustments from the first measurement if you think the sound is not enjoyable enough, because glm is a real gunpowder package where magic is hidden in the adjustments in abundance. Otherwise, the bigger genelecs always sound better than the smaller collection. I can guarantee that.
