All you need to do is but T-Tap Connectors, use a Automotive Circuit Tester, preferably one that lights up, & find a 12 volt wire in one of the box of wires near your battery, and use a T-Tap to tap the positive wire that lights up when you turn the ignition switch on. For the automotive Circuit Tester, try to get one where the black wire on it clamps to a negative ground while you use the tester to probe for the wire you need. As for the turn signals, there is usually three wires, and you have to T-Tap into the positive wire if you can find it. Sometimes, you have to cut into the wire casing. If you make a mistake with the wire, your can crimp them back together with heat shrink wire connectors, so that they don't corrode from the weather. Of course, then you need a heat gun to do that. Of course, you don't want to connect wires the wrong way. Positive with positive and negative with negative....always! You may also drain more power from the fuse box taping into the turn signals, so you might want to do a little research on Amp fuse you need for the access power drain. However, sometimes the fuse that is currently in use is enough to handle the access amperage drain. To test amperage, it gets complicated. That is when you need an Amp Meter. Fun! Fun! I may not be a mechanic, but I learned a few things from my brother who was a Millwright & Mechanic. My brother fixes everything. Radios, cars, heavy machinery, and he knows carpentry as well. I've even seen him come out with designs for things before they would appear in Popular Mechanics Magazine. He even used a wood stove to circulate water through pipes he rigged up through the wood stove that heat the pool, and he would get pallets to burn for free. I wish I was creative like that, and he never teaches me a damn thing. He always tells me to get away while he is working, because every time I'm around, he smashes his thumb with a hammer, and all I have to do is sit there. lol When my brother was 14 years old, he took shocks off a mini motorcycle, put it on my Banana Seat Bicycle, and turned the front forks into a Chopper. When I got home from school & saw my Banana Seat Bicycle all in pieces right down to the ball bearings and each part of my chain undone & dissected into little pieces...boy was I ticked! I was about 8 years old back then in '78 in Connecticut.

Hello, in the video at the link below at 8:40 we talk about the yellow ignition wire, insure that the wire is connected to a switched power source doing this will insure your speakers are not powered when your ignition is powered off.ruclips.net/video/5GWtPYbTBFU/видео.html

@@LEXINMOTO Did all that and connected the turn signal wires as well. Works great!. Just the problem with the button, but not a major issue.

    • @brianparent

@@LEXINMOTO and yes...don't forget that yellow ignition wire. I first connected it directly to the battery, because it was about to rain, so it wouldn't turn off unless you turned it off at the switch. However, once you tap into an ignition switch wire with a T-Tap, nobody can turn the speakers on unless you turn your key in the ignition switch, so that you can push the button and turn the power on or off. That little yellow wire needs power in order for your radio to work whether you connect it to the ignition switch or not. Some choose not to, but that is their choice. Definitely not my choice. lol

I have a 1" handlebar. Will the shims fit from 1" to 1 1/4" or do I have to order them? I ordered your speakers, but it says on Amazon from 7/8" - 1 1/4." Just need to know if I need to order shim spacers to fit a 1' handlebar or will I be fine with what's in the box?

Hello, yes the included shims allow the mounting for bars from 7/8" up to 1 1/8", So yes they will mount to a 1" bar with the included parts with no extras to purchase. Thank you

@@LEXINMOTO Yeah, I realized that when I installed them less than a week ago. Too bad the little button broke off when I turned down the volume, but I returned proof of purchase and pictures of the button controller to Jose @ lexinmotorcycle. He reached me after I reached out to tech @ lexinmotorcycle. Said that all I had to do is return proof of purchase along with pictures of the broken button. Hopefully, I can get a replacement, and hopefully it doesn't break so easily this time because I barely touched it to lower the volume. Surprised I was when I saw the little piece of the head of the button drop, but that is a manufacturing defect. I can still use it though with my fingernail digging into the where the button is and using my fingernail to lower the volume...etc... As for the speakers, working great with my windshield!

Hello, these are universal bar mounted speakers. Depending on the size of your bars these should mount up no problem. Hope this helps
