I just love the interview... I love how the host "Grace" gave Zeddy time to Express herself unlike Jalas who tried to defend her lunatic friends by questioning Zeddy instead of giving her the platform to express herself.... Well done
Her honesty and bluntness is refreshing. May God bless you abundantly. It takes Grace, Wisdom, and Gods Love to get through hardships. Also, pray that you get good godly friends and acquaintances.
Profound. So sorry for the loss of your baby, hope you can get counseling. Thank you for being an advocate for the better mental health of women who’ve lost their babies, and advocating for sensitivity and compassion from medical professionals who deal with these women at those very dark moments of loss. Blessings upon blessing to you Zeddy. You’re refreshingly authentic 🖤
Instead of people arguing about which language is appropriate for this interview, why don't you call NTV and suggest they become a Swahili broadcaster? Alternatively, you can can switch to KBC, Maisha or Milele!!!
Some things need to change in Kenya. Zeddy talking about this is an eye opener for all of us. 1. A ward should be set apart for mothers who have lost their babies postpartum, counsellors should be made use of in such instances. Counselling is indeed paramount for patients in Kenya, this is inclusive of young mother's who get into postpartum depression, mother's who have lost their young ones, mother's in abusive marriages, mother's with complications in pregnancy etc. And my fellow medics should give uncompromised care to patients. This include, being sensitive to patients diagnosis and prognosis, being a patients advocate, participating in patients healing process. It hurts that in this age and era a medical professional would be ignorant of postpartum depression. And finally, all the best Zeddy in your endeavours and my sincere condolences for your loss.
Hapo kw mlevi umenikumbusha, zile zama za kitambo kuna mtu mmoja alikuwa mlevi kuenda mosque balaaa, wakati alifariki kuna kiongozi mmoja alikataa kumzika wakati alipo itwa, Lakin kunguvu za Allah alizikwa, Hule kiongozi hule jamaa alimkujia kw ndoto anatembea peponi alienda kw mke wake kuhuliza mume wako alikuwa anafanya nini dunia, mke alijibu mume wangu alikuwa aswali Lakin alikuwa analisha mayatima mwisho wa mtu Allah ndio anajua kw mm huyo mlevi alikuwa ametumwa na Allah Alhamdulillah saa hii unamkumbuka kw wema wake hata kama alikuwa mlevi shukran 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Mimi nimependa hii interview. Kila kitu kiko sawa na language pia ni sawa because in Kenya we use two languages nationally and that Grace has munched it very well. This is a real unscripted perfection. Zeddy you are so strong. Go gal.
This was a good interview. Grace i would really like hear from mothers who's ex' husbands have not been part in their children's lives. Financially or emotionally or physically.
Zeddy you are one in a billion. You’ve triumphed the trials of life and always willing to reach out to others even when you aren’t doing that fine yourself. That’s spirit of altruism will makes others heal like Njoro and help you heal. You should be an ambassador for depression not only to celebs, but to the many Kenyans going through it. I hope the government can work with you to establish a dependable avenue to offer mental health services such as counseling to Kenyans and also improve the conditions of mothers giving birth under brutal conditions in major government hospitals and even private one. Ata Kama uko na side hustle. Keep smiling, keep reaching out and doing the amazing work. May God you bless you!!
I am so moved by Zeddy's struggles. Esp the part when she had to fast with her kids with no plan for the next day. I wish her all the best and she will continue to grow. Allah bless her.
Zainab Zeddy, everything about you is pure natural, from your looks, your smile, your attitude and more so being true to yourself in this interview. Your story is a summary of what most people go through everyday in life in different ways. Am glad you chose to share your story to encourage someone,May your Fungua roho na Zeddy platform grow to inspire so many persons. God bless you.
The sad fact about comedians and those of us who love using humor with our friends, is that we have previously identified with traumatic pain and if humor helps eliminate the option that someone else would feel that pain we would give it freely.
Not that it's a bad thing but I don't understand why Africans insist on interviewing their guests who prefer to speak Swahili in English. It's so annoying to watch this trend, hosts should TRY to accommodate their guests when it comes to the national language. I'm not saying one has to be entirely fluent in Swahili.Tujipende. Sio kwa ubaya!
@@annakamau2183 I know right?! People in Kenya associate speaking English as being classy when it's quite the opposite. Class is being respectful and comfortable in who you are and where you're from.
All yah talking here u have one thing in common,,uve gone out there and just realised how cool it is to have identity out there(foreign country),,when watching skits online I prefer Swahili content so that all the foreigners around me know I have an identity.wakenya wanauthi nakungangana na lugha isiyo yakusaliwa(lusungu) in the name of kusoma..Nani atatuambia mchina, mrusia mgerman hajui kizungu nawamebobea kisayanzi kitechnolojia n.k.kama kuna kitu kimoja napendea tz niatumizi ya Kiswahili Kwa kila Nyanja.i love how effortles and eloquent zeddy always express her self in swa.
They both spoke languages they are comfortable with. Wengi wetu really struggle with Kiswahili...watch Kiswahili interviews uone vile we struggle with Kiswahili. Both languages are naturalized for us Right now Namibians are fighting the introduction of Kiswahili in their curriculum. It's all about perspective.
Well the show is supposed to be in English, I'm sure Zeddy was aware when she accepted the interview. We also have Swahili and vernacular channels. But i can see they are mixing
wow Zeddy ur a very strong woman.May God supply all ur needs.the things women go thru🤔🤔its by Gods grace and mercy..never give up on God coz he will never give up on you
Sad 😭 story to 👂 Lack of Empathy in Kenyan nurses, doctors They go for medical training because of the cash 💰 not the calling of how you can be treated as well in the situations
Ma sha Allah I feel your sincerity. May Allah continue opening up more doors for you and everyone. Life is a journey and best traveled accepting our weaknesses and involving God in every step of the process, and realizing that every situation is temporary. Thumbs up do what makes you happy and accomplished.
I am not justifying anything but burnout real have you ever been to a govt maternity ward and 1. Seen the volume of patients and the number of caregivers. 2. It gets to a point you see so many deaths it's like the brain shuts down coz pia before covid access to a counselor was difficult. 3. Being a health worker does not mean one is a counselor. Most people do not get that. Ni kama kusema because mtu working in a garage and anajua parts za gari anajua kudrive gari.
Criminal charges need to be brought to that hospital. I’ve heard horror stories, I am so sorry for your lose. Some Kenyans need sensitivity training like a mother. Jesus Christ and then you wonder why some call us animals .
Anyone, or maybe not, can feel the pain of this woman! She is still so pained yet so strong! Mama, Zeddy sweetie, keep up the strength! Your story will/is an inspiration to many! God loves you! What can God not do!!! I love Grace, she gave Zeddy an opportunity but looks like she’s so scripted, no empathy. And I mean just with this interview in particular!
Wow Zeddy! What a journey,no one would have imagined that you did go through such a rough patch..you're a strong lady with a heart of Gold. May God continue blessing you and enlarge your territory.Sending you ❤❤❤
Two things that stand out for me in this interview; 1. The midwifery/nurses/doctors attitude and how they treat women - unacceptable, unacceptable and it’s been happening for so long that it’s normal. 2. Men/husbands grieve differently and deal with loss differently. And this applies to miscarriages as well. They suffer silently. Think about that.
I just love the interview...
