AZHT: Flexing Your Horse in the Saddle

Teach your horse how to flex properly in the saddle. Always allow the horse to use its brain, don't force the horse. Work with them softly and make sure they are a 90 degree. Flex your horse before doing anything else in the saddle. Doing this will help soften them up at the pole and loosens their front end so they are not tight before working.
As always it takes time, patience, and, consistency.
Soft hands, makes a soft horse!
