I came here after the "dan wolrd" hybe incident, can you talk about it more? I can't find anything about it even tho koreans right now are going wild about it in the comments of "omg mv" by newjeans (the official one) and are accusing hybe of being in it
Gfriend’s album concept right before they got fired is a witch. After their termination, le seraphim came out. (Seraphim=the angel) There were 6 members in Gfriend, 6 members(originally) in le seraphim. A lot of important dates are related to the number 22, which is the symbolic number in “dan world”. “Dan world” is a cult focusing on breathing experiences and meditation, which is shown in TXT’s videos. (The boys were listening to this and meditating) One if the key concept of “dan world” is finding ‘real me’, and the belief of being capable of changing oneself to another by coping the original. Ilit(the new girl group in hype) copies new jeans’ concept, dance, and aesthetics. Ilit’s album’s name is also called ‘real me’. The symbolic animal in “dan world” is a bear, which keeps on appearing in OMG mv. The story of OMG is Minji being the doctor, or the one who can save other girls, Daniel escaping(the christian ‘daniel’), Hyein thinking that she’s an iphone(meaning that she’s already being controlled by someone), other girls being chased by the bear or get attacked. Minji keeps on saying that they’re new jeans and this is only a mv. The main focus is on members being controlled and manipulated while Minji is keep on saying that’s not true. This is because OMG’s lyrics are made to worship the cult by hybe, but Min heejin(the CEO of ador), who directed the mv, is mocking the original worshipping lyrics, saying that it’s a mental problem(the background of mv is in mental hospital). Hybe didn’t like what they were seeing, so decided to throw Min heejin under the bus by saying that she tried to take over the company. I don’t know if this comment will last long because hybe is constantly deleting comments in search engines and their own yt, but because not many foreign fans know about this, i want you guys to spread this. This explains many suspicious works of hybe, and the CEO, Mr. Bang used bts, txt, le seraphim, new jeans and many others to worship their cult. I’m a korean fan who speaks english and wanted to help.
As a Christian I am so disappointed in this kinds of behavior these people are doing Edit: I try my best to defend us Christians but then they come out saying “ but you guys do this you guys do that” all I say “not all of us though not all of us feel that certain way not all of us do that” and try to show it with my actions Bc as much as I love kpop but for me god came first so I have to defend my religion without hurting other people in the process
Please.. people that do these wicked things in “the name of Jesus” need serious help. I hate that this complete misrepresentation of God exists and even pushes people away from God. As God said in the Bible: “My people perish from a lack of knowledge”. If u are religious and are thinking abt God, please, read the Bible to know God and His truth for urself so u can know when someone is false preaching!
this is so scary omg and the worst part is that they profit from people who feel truly lost and in pain, they destroy even further the victims' confidence and personality so they feel like they can't leave… they scare them with everything. how heartless you have to be to do something like that??? I hope society gets more aware about this problem and those who are trapped in there find a way to escape safely. joining a cult will never NEVER be the solution.take care everyone!

To be fair though there is very little crime in Korea compared to most developed countries. For example people will have no qualms leaving their personal belongings unsupervised for long periods of time knowing very well that nothing will happen to them. So I wonder if that plays a part in it too.

"If it was a cult, I would've left already" Everybody who says this has no idea what being in a cult is like. I was a member of a church that developed cult like tendencies and believe me when I say You will have no fucking clue that you're in a cult and if u know it will be VERY HARD to leave. Or that person never was in a cult for real. People in cults don't realize it's a cult bc that's part of the lie that's been sold to them. living in a cult means you're brainwashed - and you don't realize it. And that's why it's so dangerous, bc whenever people come up to you and tell u the truth u think they're lying and/ or want to harm you bc of the brainwashing u think u got the keys to truth and they don't. It it truly dangerous. And so sad, bc people get abused so easily this way.
i agree with you, idk why ppl says its so easy to leave a cult cus you never know what they will do and manipulate you. plus if you try to escape and speak up about what they did and report it, they do something crazy to you. have they not seen the korean tv show "Save Me" , "hellbound" and the new documentary of south korea cult called "the name of god: a holy betrayel" it covers on those cults situations.
As an ELF (SuperJunior Fan) I think Eunhyuk doesn't believe in religion that much now. I've heard him joke about that subject a few times and during a vlog Donghae asked him "Do you know what a bible is?" and he responded: "yeah, the thing that you guys read." I am not sure if it has anything to do with the arrest but I feel like he was disillusioned by religion after the incident. I feel like we all have felt that way. When you grow up in a religious household you feel like the religious scholars are saints. As you grow up you see the news about sexual harassments and corruption you're like Imma head out.
What is very unfortunate about this is letting 'men' decide for you whether or not you want to believe in God. There's bad everywhere, you know? Just because a man cheats on his wife doesn't mean all men are cheaters. Now a woman is going to go around missing the best and good stuff about meeting the right one just because of some guy and his wrecklessness.
This is not me taking a hit at Eunhyuk. We all have a spirit of free will. Choice is one of our greatest powers and I have no right to judge anyone for the decisions they make. Which is something I will not do. But I just feel like making big decisions like that just because some pastor couldn't control his desires is very damaging to the wonderful relationship one could potentially have with God. We put so much worth and respect on people forgetting they are just that; people. Pastor, saint, normal person, we all have desires. We all sin. Now I'm not justifying the nastiness we see people do. But if news comes out about my Lead pastor doing what he is not supposed to, that's something he'll need to settle with God and it has nothing to do with what I'm hoping to build with God. You feel?
i think that depends on the type of religious household you grow up in. my father is very good friends with my pastor, but ever since we were young, he's told me and my brother that we can't expect our religious leaders to be perfect; that they're human too, and that even they make mistakes. the only one who makes no mistakes is god. of course, i've never been in a church where the leaders were involved in crime, so i can't relate to people who went through that. but i think my upbringing allowed me to see my religion for what it is; rather than blind faith, i was raised on true faith. i really hope that one day, this will be the case for the majority of believers raised in religious households.
This is supposed to be a serious topic but I can’t stop thinking about Delivery, it’s one of my favorite kdramas with the funniest one in it Edit: Omg I didn’t know there were that much people who know it
Damn I would've never guessed these idols were/are a part of cults. It's scary tbh how easily they trust some random stranger.. Makes me wonder what happens after one is dragged into a cult what's next? Do they force them to follow their beliefs and lead a life based on the cults' principles? All these videos of people luring those who seem easy targets I'm seeing makes me rethink whether or not to go to SK alone 😐
@@sofypi7493 so you maybe didn't get what I meant, but what I mean is that I wouldn't have guessed THESE idols were part of a cult out of all the kpop idols I know.
This is the reason why people are mislead. There is a big difference between RELIGION and CULT. Cults do great misdeeds and deceive people while using the name of God in vain whereas Religion is having the belief in God and abiding by His words.
I think then cults who succeeded in the brainwashing their members deserve more of the backlash and their members deserve help. A lot of these idols were indoctrinated when they were children. Children do what their parents do, that's how all religions work imo. It's rare for kids to deviate from what their parents told them to believe their whole life. I show sympathy for the adults as well, being manipulated by these people who separate you from your family, take your money, and run your life making you think they the church is the only thing you can rely on if pretty fucked. It's like when religious people try to witness to you when you're Greiveving a loss. It's fucked up. To make a long statement short, I pity these idols more than I dislike them. I hate their churches tho.
Just know, that in any religion, there's only one God. So if any leader (pastors/ustadz etc.) starts to do things that made you worship them or in awe of them because they start to do outrageous things like healing sick people etc., just know that it should be a warning. In my religion we were taught that you can't actuallt rely 100% on religion only. You still need to think and have good logics
true same here as well and on top of that being a christian and born in a pent cost family and watching how some people who says bible preaching can be done by anyone its not true and you are only disrespecting god and no doubt you would be punished
Also there should not be any membership fee, you should have to give up any or all assets or money you own, and if there is anything sexual going on 🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩
I feel you wrongly covered this, nobody will want to be associated with a cult especially celebrities in a country like sk, did the celebrities make those comments b4 or after such scandals came to light? And it feels like you are calling the Christian faith a cult, what people choose to do with knowledge does not make the source evil.
I have the same experience 😂 2 times lol, it's scary. I think when I'm in high school, I use public transportation and there is 2 people with -holy book(?? in their hands :'( and they start asking me about church. I forgot to say thank you. I hope if you find someone like that, you guys can help them to get out from the situation too 🥲 I know how scary it was.
So in Hollywood you have Scientology. In Hallyu you have this I didn’t even know about this until recently when I went to SK for iKON’s concert. My fellow iKONIC told me there’s a lot of you tube videos on how to avoid them. While heading out to dinner we were approached by one but she backed away when she realized we weren’t foreigners living there but instead foreigners just visiting.
really, using bts...the guys reported to be ethiest {not sure the ryt spelling} or no religion....and the cult thing is scary ....am telling you be careful about peaple
The thing about Inni and Hyunjin is that they succumbed to the pressure, cuz in my knowledge saying no to an adult is sign of disrespect AND you can add that they're the most naive persons out there. At that age anyone without the ability to sense danger or don't know about the bad things that occur in the world could be in their positions, even if you are an adult and have common sense can be dragged to that kind of situation if they fool you just cuz they caught you in your 5 minutes of stupidity.
The problem is the source for all these rumors are just korean commenters and you guys believe it just because they're korean. Its like as a korean believing in Qanon just because the ppl talking about it are in America.
honestly idk why I'm shocked that Taeyang is probably in a cult? He's very obsessed with his religion and back when he started getting his tattoos I thought it was insane to get his jesus one. Not to mention he only posts bible quotes. I hope he and Hyorin and get out of it and find a more balanced relationship with god.
When it comes to believing, do your own research. Don't let people around you dictate what you believe in. It's not always the others fault that people are fooled, learn to protect yourself from it/them.
People in cults might use their power to destroy non-religious who could go against them. In the entrainment area they will make unpleasant comments about artist that they want out of their way. The sad story is, they will always find someone to help them and good actors and singers will be exposed to mistreatment or out of job.

As a Christian I am so disappointed in this kinds of behavior these people are doing

Guess Korean kids are more trusting, it's drummed into most of us not to go off with someone we don't know so they were pretty lucky to get away.
To be fair though there is very little crime in Korea compared to most developed countries. For example people will have no qualms leaving their personal belongings unsupervised for long periods of time knowing very well that nothing will happen to them. So I wonder if that plays a part in it too.

yet everyone still believe that jyp is connected with those damn cult using the same name as Christians.. as jyp stated, those cult came to his bible study
You feel?
@@onalenna6683 couldn’t have said it better 👍
I agree with u
i think that depends on the type of religious household you grow up in. my father is very good friends with my pastor, but ever since we were young, he's told me and my brother that we can't expect our religious leaders to be perfect; that they're human too, and that even they make mistakes. the only one who makes no mistakes is god. of course, i've never been in a church where the leaders were involved in crime, so i can't relate to people who went through that. but i think my upbringing allowed me to see my religion for what it is; rather than blind faith, i was raised on true faith. i really hope that one day, this will be the case for the majority of believers raised in religious households.
I really like your vids and sometimes i got goosebumps
