Business Class - Lufthansa - Airbus A350 - Munich to Charlotte - including Cockpit visit

- Watch our Business Class trip from Munich to Charlotte, North Carolina. The flight took part on Lufthansa Airbus A350-900 - their new flagship plane. A visit of the Lounge at the Terminal 2 Satellite was also possible. A visit of the cockpit was possible after landing in Charlotte. Departure from runway 08L with flight route over Great Britain and Ireland to Canada and the United States. Landing on Runway 18L at Charlotte Douglas International Airport.

@@upintheair-travel yes, I am looking forward to it, my son and his family live there. I just wish I din't have to fly from Düsseldorf to Munich just to fly over Düsseldorf agai on the way to Charlotte. I remember when I was young Lufthansa had direct flights out of Düsseldorf to the US. The good old days!

@@upintheair-travel Ja, Charlotte hat es verdient. Es ist eine sehr schöne, moderne und gut strukturierte Stadt mit großen Parks und einem ausgezeichneten Lebensstandard. Ich traf sie und verliebte mich in sie.

As a native and resident of Charlotte, I'd like to say THANK YOU for visiting our city. I hope you had a good time. I recently flew CLT->MUC->CLT on the Lufthansa A350. We flew in economy class. I think the A350 is beautiful and very advanced but I must admit that economy class felt very cramped. I am sure business class was quite enjoyable. All the best ! Mit freundlichen Gruessen :)
SDMullis Thank you for the nice lines. We had a great time in Charlotte and were really sad when we had to fly back home. We actually flew to CLT without great expectations, neither we nor the family knew Charlotte very well. Therefore, we were amazed at the diversity and beauty of the city and equally enthusiastic. The warmth of the people was extremely beneficial. And yes the business food was very tasty 😋 Too bad that time flies too quickly when flying. Then best regards to Charlotte 🙋♀️

A350 both variants, 900 and 1000, really provide an excellent experience for passangers, very quiet, with higher cabin pressurization and humidity, bigger windows and a perfect cabin width for 3-3-3 in Economy and 1-2-1 in Business. It’s sad Lufthansa have choosed stand behind competition with 2-2-2. And the last but not least, they are very efficient for operators.
Thank you for the feedback, so it helps to improve things or to develop them further. Yes, the difference to other (older) aircraft types is enormous. We measured a noise level of just 65 decibels in flight. The humidity is also very positive, after the 10 hour flight with the B767 we were really exhausted, which was not the case in the A350. :-)
Lufthansa will introduce a 1-2-1 on their new 777X in 2023!
Hello, it was a really smooth video :) Did you have the chance to see the economy class on this flight? I flew this aircraft (LH 428 or 429) back in 2017 but can't remember whether it was 3-3-3 or 3-4-3.
Rafa Cena Thank you for the good feedback. No, I was not in the economy, but you can have a look at the arrangement on www.seatguru.com. In the case of the Lufthansa A350, it is a 3-3-3 configuration.
Hi there again. I just read in airliners.net that Lufthansa could come early with new Business class and they will not to wait to very delayed 777-9 to introduce it, citing internal unnamed sources from airline. I hope so, 350 (and passengers, of course) deserves better J product.
I am also hoping, that LH does not wait until mid 2021 to launch a state of the art product. If they put it on the A350 our next LH flight from Munich would be safe ;-)
Well done trip report on www.airliners.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=1438501. Speaking of the new LH Business Class seats my airport EWR gets them on B747-8 LH 402/403 FRA-EWR-FRA and MUC A350-900 just like yours LH 412/413 MUC-EWR-MUC.
Thanks for the positive feedback. It is currently only a new aircraft, but an old hard product. Unfortunately LH only wants to bring the really new business class to the market with the B777X.
