Love how personal Ingested get. They've been that way for a long time now, and it's so relatable. Makes the tunes hit even harder.
Just discovered you guys a few days ago and it started with this album.
Tbh I never heard of deathcore before but I love this album. Checked out your other albums on here and man, you guys absolutely slay.
Tried looking for other deathcore bands like Lorna shore, carnifex, aversions crown but nothing compared to what I get from Ingested.
Thank you for your music guys.
for the heavy side of ingested try acrania and visions of disfigurement
they also blend deathcore with slam pretty well
@@PedroHenrique-ng7tm thanks, ill check those out. I tried a slam band yesterday and it was....ok, I guess. Between slam and deathcore I prefer core.
I have been more in to old school death metal like Obituary and Bolt Thrower. Love the grooves. Ingested's new album popped up on my feed so I gave it a chance not knowing what to expect. Instantly fell in love with the drumming and how each song seems to have changing melodies. It's fast but melodic as well.
When I tried other core bands I don't know, it just didn't click. Like Lorna shore, I didn't care for the symphonic aspect of it (their new album). Carnifex was okay but when I was listening to it all I could think was that I'd rather be listening to Ingested.
I'll check those 2 bands out though. Thanks for the recommendation.
@@ZackMorris1015 i really get what your saying
i dont vibe with blackened core bands too
but those 2 bands they have the slam and the groove that ingested have
also old school dm is soooo good
and if by any means you like those bands there's also the first bonecarver record 'evil' thats INSANELY good
@@PedroHenrique-ng7tm I'm just a bit concerned when you bring up slam. Only because yesterday I listened to Organectomy's new album "Nail below nail" which apparently is slam, and I didn't really dig it that much.
I'm really new to the whole deathcore/slam genre. Literally discoving the genre's 4 days ago. Ingested was the first band I heard in the genre. It just hits so different than the other bands in the genre I've heard so far.
Ingested just hits that sweet spot for me. Otherworldly drumming (addicted to that trigger sound), riffs for days, melody, and I'm not sure if there are 2 singers (think it's just Jason) but I like the 2 different styles of vocals: low/high.
I heard a bit of their earlier material and not in to the whole gore thing. Plus I feel the vocals are much better on their last 4 or so albums. Love the modern production as well compared to their earlier material. Just suits their style so well.
Sorry for the long replies, I don't have any metal friends to talk music with and tbh, I'm very happy that I've discovered this band 4 days ago. Been binging their stuff since.
@@ZackMorris1015 yeah organectomy is plain slamming death metal
those bands that i told you to check are slamming deathcore
they have the riffs, the blast beats, the crazy vocals and also some melodic riffs here and there
and i totally agree
ingested have been on their prime (although i love their first record)
just like the whole core scene
bands like fit for an autopsy and brand of sacrifice just keeps getting better and better
dont worry tho i also like metal and chatting about it xD
Love these guys.

Love this band shoukd be millions of comments and listens to this band good groovy extreme metal
I've finally delved into the lyrics, Jason and Sean, and especially like the lyrics on "Scratch the Vein". Could you elaborate on the line "I need this pain inside to keep me free"? I find this idea intriguing, and would love your take on it!
YALL ARE FUCKING AMAZING🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘 YALLS SET ON HALLOWEEN WAS TOP TIER💯💯💯💯 Hope to see yall in Houston soon again
BEHOLD KING INFAMOUS KING CARNIVOROUS
BREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
awesome record guys thank you so much
Love hanging out in that park, eh lads? Love the album.
Will there be a part 2?
Probably not, I think they were just going over the tracks that they thought were the most important.
Is that lipstick?
