UK death metal titans Ingested have been churning out bilious anti-anthems for more than a decade and a half, dropping a string of releases that have helped shape the genre. In 2022, they return with Ashes Lie Still, their most dynamic, inventive and daring release to date, holding nothing back, the band describing it as "A modern essential. If you like heavy music, it will be nigh on impossible for you to not find something you like about this record. It still has the core Ingested elements of groovy slamming riffs, quick drumming, and guttural vocals but there's also atmosphere, ethereal moments and some raw old school aggression." Over the course of ten tracks they hack, slash and steamroll through everything in their path, and it easily stands as the highpoint of an already impressive career.

These guys were great at Summer Slaughter 2016, saw them in Atlanta. I miss the old Masquerade. Cannibal Corpse, Suffocation (even with the fill in), Slaughter to Prevail, Revocation, it was a great show.

The gig at bloodstock was class. A silent wall of death during the technical difficulty period 😆 it was well sweaty in there but I had to get involved. Someone head butted me and the lump took ages to go. Can't wait for the new shit 🤘

Great band, this. Was really (though very pleasantly) surprised when I saw them live at Into The Grave (NL) this year. Never heard of them before that gig, but man did they ever smash it.

Met these guys when they opened for Dying Fetus in London , I was blown away having never heard them before, and then spoke to them after and it was so surreal seeing them going from these beasts on stage to normal guys chatting about random topics

Great choice to have a bassist at least live.
That's one thing I dislike about some of the deathcore bands I've seen live recently, they only came with samples instead or a real bass and I was honestly quite disappointed.
Anyway, Ingested are legendary as always.
