I have also stood in court representing myself and not been alowed to speak and when i spoke up about it been threatened with contempt of court. But for the fact that this family are strong willed and believed in themselves, and that they had absolutely no case to answer , they would have been bound to the peace for something they were not guilty of doing. The allegation was that the family caused affray or breach of the peace at a local hotel. The hotel owner was prepared to stand and be a witness in favour of the family to say that no such thing took place. But he was not approached by the guards even though they claimed that he was asked. The reality of the matter was that it was a young arrogant pup of a garda who was called to assist the familys blind and aged mother at 4 pm in the morning when she was being subjected to a horrific ordeal at the hands of a drunken son in law.He had broken up the house where the mother was living at the time and had attempted to hang himself afterwards. Proof in the form of pictures of this were taken by the family and handed to their solicitor.afterwards. A siege situation took place at the family home with eight or ten members of the force being called in the early hours and the poor woman was taken to a local hotel for her safety. It was there that this young upstart of a garda tried everything in his power to initiate trouble between the family and he maintained a threatening demenour throughout the ordeal for the family. But they ignored him with one exception and that was the wife of the drunken culprit who was the cause of the old womans trauma. She was also drunk and did try to cause trouble with the ambulance people who were called. But her daughter was well known to the young guarda and he immediately took sides and turned on the law abiding faction of the family who had never uttered a bad word throughout. The ambulance staff were even prepared to come to court and give evidence to support our family -and would be saying that only one person-the drunken wife- did try to stop the elderly woman being put into the ambulance but that no one else interfered. They were never approached to give evidence by the state. Curious? The guards, including the superintendent from Castlerea, claimed that the family's witnesses had refused to come to court to give evidence that would clear their good name. but this again was complete lies. It was only when a member of the family ran down to the local doctor -{who was prepared to be a witness- and came back up the streets of Ballaghaderreen with him to prove he was never asked to appear in court by the gardai} that suddenly the whole case took on a different route and there were huddled whispering's going on under a tree at the rear of the courthouse between the Superintendant, the Garda involved, the prosecutor and our solicitor . And lo and behold we were told that the state had withdrawn the allegations and the case dismissed. So , we as a family had to lick our wounds and thank our lucky stars that corruption had failed once again to bring down a law abiding family of the highest integrity who were falsely accused by a young corrupt garda who had the full backing of his superiors to say anything at all under oath that would enable the gardai to save face no matter what the consequences. Yes--corruption is RIFE in Ireland !!

I then lost all respect for Irish authorities and was subsequently arrested in Dublin mountjoy station. There I was stripped naked and beaten with batons, I was covered i was covered in blood from head to toe and they threw me in a cell with some deranged fella from Belfast. They blamed him for the beating. All my cases against the guards were thrown out due to lack of evidence. I have since left Ireland and now live happily in a country where I can learn to trust again. Dishonesty & corruption is still the name of the game in this godforsaken country but they can be beaten at their own game. My own personal experience of abuse of law by those in authority goes right back to before I was even born and after 22 years of trying to assert my right to natural justice I feel confident the state will make an offer of settlement next day we attend the high court. I never gave up and still believe truth will always win out but you gotta take the fight to them.

In 2019 i had gardai intefear in child access by my ex when i arrived at the access the gardai were parked next to my exs car talking to her as soon as i got out of my car the gardai got out of theirs and tried to halt me from going toward my exs car because my daughter was in the front seat i was delighted to see my daughter because the mother had delibertly stopped all contact between my daughter and i for 3 months tje garda
the garda came to me and said he wanted to talk to me this was a young garda i told him this access was nothing got to do with him he said she called us over i spoke to my daughter the window in her mothers car was slightly agar the garda came behind me again saying he wanted to talk to me as i turned asked the garda what he wanted the.mother drove away up the sea front the garda turned around to me and his mate clapped his hands together and shouted dont pull the child out of the car im left standing there and my witness made a snear of .i went to local garda barracks to report garda interfearence in court access the garda there said to me you know what to do i had to go through. Gsoc to complain of the .abuse this was deliberate timewasting by gardai as ít turned out the superintendant who investigated or supposed to have investigated the two gardai are from the same district which is totally illegal .my witness who was with me at the access was totally ignored .after years of getting nowhere to this day With the ignorance from garda commissioner the minister of children Tusla and justice minister who were all contacted more than once the garda commissioner passed it on minister for children said he didnt deal with individual cases as the justice minister the same remark although in last few weeks wasnt all of the irish government up in arms to unite the father and daughter caught up in the war.Is it an individual case ?

Joe this is an awful situation and you are right to speak out, Ireland is a great country full of kind and generous people but from what I keep reading and hearing there is an unspoken alliance of those in power who act against the good of the people when it suits them. I'm not expecting each person to be an angel but those in power have a responsibility to act for the public good, when the role of the gardai is more for private gain than public interest they walk down a very slippery slope, this is Ireland, not Russia!

Your claim about how statements are taken is incorrect. Cautioned statements are taken on regular refill pad pages like you would get in an A4 refill pad. Even regular statement paper comes in bulk in a pad and is not individually printed. At least with your latest charge you will be able to demand production of the warrant and challenge it in court. If there was no warrant then you will have an easy civil case.

I'm so sorry to hear what you've been through at the hands of these corrupt bastards Joe, and delighted you have come back to ballina to fight them. You're right to be wondering what the hell theyve all got on each other that keeps them united in their corrupt and disgusting behaviour. Had a decade of it here, they followed English special branch orders to keep harassing me. They lost, and the local one forced to "take early retirement". Absolutely Disgusting! How can people no matter who they are, be so evil. How can the families of these corrupt vile beings (they don't deserve the word human) live with themselves or even worse, live with them? Dishonesty & corruption is still the name of the game in this godforsaken country but they can be beaten at their own game. My own personal experience of abuse of law by those in authority goes right back to before I was even born and after 22 years of trying to assert my right to natural justice I feel confident the state will make an offer of settlement next day we attend the high court. I never gave up and still believe truth will always win out but you gotta take the fight to them.

OMG it sounds horrific what you have gone through. I was glad to hear that you have not let them win as regards where to live. Sometimes you have to stand up to what's right as you have done. In 2019 i had gardai intefear in child access by my ex when i arrived at the access the gardai were parked next to my exs car talking to her as soon as i got out of my car the gardai got out of theirs and tried to halt me from going toward my exs car because my daughter was in the front seat i was delighted to see my daughter because the mother had delibertly stopped all contact between my daughter and i for 3 months tje garda
the garda came to me and said he wanted to talk to me this was a young garda i told him this access was nothing got to do with him he said she called us over i spoke to my daughter the window in her mothers car was slightly agar the garda came behind me again saying he wanted to talk to me as i turned asked the garda what he wanted the.mother drove away up the sea front the garda turned around to me and his mate clapped his hands together and shouted dont pull the child out of the car im left standing there and my witness made a snear of .i went to local garda barracks to report garda interfearence in court access the garda there said to me you know what to do i had to go through. Gsoc to complain of the .abuse this was deliberate timewasting by gardai as ít turned out the superintendant who investigated or supposed to have investigated the two gardai are from the same district which is totally illegal .my witness who was with me at the access was totally ignored .after years of getting nowhere to this day
With the ignorance from garda commissioner the minister of children Tusla and justice minister who were all contacted more than once the garda commissioner passed it on minister for children said he didnt deal with individual cases as the justice minister the same remark although in last few weeks wasnt all of the irish government up in arms to unite the father and daughter caught up in the war.Is it an individual case ?

Joe this is an awful situation and you are right to speak out, Ireland is a great country full of kind and generous people but from what I keep reading and hearing there is an unspoken alliance of those in power who act against the good of the people when it suits them. I'm not expecting each person to be an angel but those in power have a responsibility to act for the public good, when the role of the gardai is more for private gain than public interest they walk down a very slippery slope, this is Ireland, not Russia!

Your claim about how statements are taken is incorrect. Cautioned statements are taken on regular refill pad pages like you would get in an A4 refill pad. Even regular statement paper comes in bulk in a pad and is not individually printed.
At least with your latest charge you will be able to demand production of the warrant and challenge it in court. If there was no warrant then you will have an easy civil case.
