  • A steering wheel isn’t always the easiest thing to purchase. Sizes, shapes, weights, color, brand, style, costs, you name it! Over the last few years we have been using NRG, but recently decided to explore. We took our new HiWow full carbon wheel and compared it to a same priced NRG.

you should really trade in both those wheels and invest in a wheel made to fia safety spec, for road or track use. It is your life you are playing with... oh wait I guess mine too since we gotta share the road lol.

Great video! Question: might we see either car on a track this season? What’s the plan there?

We are planning on taking each car to a track day. It’s about a $1,000 weekend trip to do it. The parts and projects you see on this channel are all paid for by income from the channel. So if the channel doesn’t make enough to produce videos and do track time, we will have to prioritize wants and needs.

@@TenzaMotorsports I know *driving* may not be the focus of the channel, but save the next upgrade and get out on track!
$1000? Please tell me that's for both cars? If not, look at what BMW CCA runs around you. In our region, BMACCA's most expensive track day is $300, and then of course you have personal costs (fuel, tires, pads). If my track days costs $1000 I'd be SOL.

$1,000 would be for one car. My closest track is 600 miles round trip. Truck with my trailer 8mpg (one car). Add two hotel nights and food. Gas for the racecar and entry fee. It’s around $1,000 I don’t want to say how much the channel makes per month. But it would take around 15% of my yearly budget for a weekend at the track with one car. I wish I had something closer, but I just don’t.

@@TenzaMotorsports Dang! Yeah, that's 3 solid days for a "track day". Well, I hope it works out for you!
