    i loved the way you said about bachelor's "the whole point in my opinion of doing a bachelor's is figuring out what you want to do and then getting good at it". here in india especially at my university students do b-tech just for certificates. thanks for the content.

      I can relate to that. I think when most of us start our bachelors, we don't know what we should be doing.
      Wish you the best in your journey :)

    Hello ma'am, I want to request you to please make a video on cost of pursuing robotics at University of Maryland ( tution fees + living cost ).
    Also thank you for your videos they are very informative.

      Hi Gaurang,
      Glad you found the video informative. :)
      I do have a video where I go through the tuition fee breakdown for UMD. Link: ruclips.net/video/ejba8Mlm330/видео.html
      Let me know if I should create a video about living cost breakdown as well.
      All the best. :)

    Please discuss your journey to UMD, like when did you gave ur GRE/TOEFL, ur scores, ur SOP/LORs, how many colleges you applied to and ur admits/rejects, ur visa interview dates, ur USA traveling dates, ur first internship date in USA, then job experience. Your day routine as a robotics engineer. Everything, how you manage hardships that a robotics students face as compared to a CS graduate student? Opportunities comparing to a CS students ?
    Building network, places good for robotics company, best and dream companies for a robotics engineer, and finally what can be the future aspects of robotics in India. I mean one or the other day I want to come to India and work on my own startup, in my country.

    thanks for the content kajal. I am a mechanical engineer from india. Can you provide the details about robotics course about where is the best education and placements are offered in different countries like US, Germany, Canada and UK ?

    • @KajalGada
      @KajalGada  2 года назад +1

      Hi Naveen,
      I am glad you found the video helpful. :)
      Since I have studied in US and not in other countries, I don't know about robotics education in other countries.
      In terms of placement, you should know unlike India, most other countries don't have placement cells. You basically have to find a job on your own.
      Hope that helps. All the best :)

    How are the job oppurtunities after MS in robotics , not about salary , but about average number of how many students will get a job in class of 100 students ??

    • @KajalGada
      @KajalGada  2 года назад

      I don't have the stats. But most of the folks I went to school with got a job in Robotics. Some people got into amazing companies right away and some went to a company and then jumped to another one after a year or so.
      I would say in the long term, immigration is a bigger pain than getting a job.

    Is there any difference between Robotics and mechatronics

    • @KajalGada
      @KajalGada  2 года назад

      Yes. There is an overlap on some topics and then there are differences. Eg: Robotics can include path planning. Mechatronics can be about designing systems that are not robots.

    Thanks for all your amazing content ! I have been working in automobile sector for a year and have completed my mechanical bachelors with 8.5 CGPA. I have done a couple of robotics related courses on coursera and have a decent knowledge of python, MATLAB and control theory. But I am very confused whether my profile is strong enough for getting admitted for MS in robotics (do you think there is a chance at UMCP? I have good GRE (323) and TOEFL scores too). Should I do an internship/job in robotics in India and then apply for fall 2023 (is India good for Robotics internships?) ? Or is is better to go and apply for fall 2022 directly ? Sorry for the long question. Hope you answer. Best wishes!

      @KajalGada  3 года назад

      Hi Shiva,
      I heard this saying once. Don't be the one to say no to yourself, let others say it. Translation - don't underestimate your profile and go ahead and apply. I would also apply for the internship. Best case scenario you do the summer internship till July and also start your masters in August.
      In my opinion that is a good GRE score. Focus on your SOP as well, it matter a lot.

      I don't have a ranking for colleges. I have interviewed students from various universities, you can check them & hopefully it will help you.
