I still haven’t heard an answer to either: 1) the real possibility that AGI sees humans as life that adds little value in the way that humans view most of the rest of the species on the planet and treats us accordingly, especially if AGI “learns” from our models; and 2) given that just about all of human economic history is built on models of ownership and uneven distribution of wealth, why will it be different when there is massive job displacement as you simply need fewer people to get work done and it is cheaper to use code. UBI depends on a benevolence and public ownership of the engines of economic value creation that has not been demonstrated anywhere or at the scale of today’s nation states.
There are laws that state you can’t cross the road, you could be subject to a fine. AGI will be regulated with taxes and that is where the payment structure will come from; tariffs will be added globally and that money will be used to pay UBI. The world economics will change.
Not that I know much about AGI or Super AI, but what happened in the Bible stories about God and what he created and then one part of what he created was the top part of God's kingdom and it rebelled? So it will be with AGI and Super AI. No?
