Hey, thanks for pointing out the choices to help the environment. Plastic makes me cringe, there's just too much of it and it's awful for the environment. So while the packaging didn't quite turn out as intended (too tight), our intentions were good. That said, Xtrfy assured me because the materials are high quality, it should eventually work itself out, as it seems yours did, so that's great to see! By the way, you can just cut the tag off. I didn't want any branding at all because pads should be 100% dedicated to the mice, but they said we need some kind of branding, so I said ok to the tag. Great review anyway! I think you nailed it. I wanted something different to see if we could aim better once we got used to it and this is the material I chose out of 20 or so. Personally, I love it, it's what I aimed best on after months of testing all the pads. Thanks for checking it out!
Really appreciate you checking it out Zy and validation from you means a lot as an aspirant peripheral reviewer. You've done a great job I'm putting out something different that expands choice and is obviously not just a co-brand opportunity. Kudos on a great pad and partnership with Xtrfy and thanks for everything you've contributed to the Peripherals space! x
I found that you can use the tube it came in to revert the shape, just reroll the pad the other way and have it in the tube for a couple hours before you put it on your desk.
@@-Rambi- good tip if you're desperate to play with the pad tbh. I found after 24 hours it was good to go just leaving it flat on the desk but this speeds up the process.
The GPZ1 is the slowest pad I've ever used which was a huge surprise, did the control of this pad catch anyone else off guard? What were people's thoughts on the GPZ1?
Super detailed review, but i expect nothing less from you now lol. Not a pad id be personally interested in but you've defo given us enough info to make an educated decision.
Thanks for the review! Watched it through, even though I am not interested in this pad. I Will not buy another control pad until XTEN hopefully comes in a ‘L’-size :)
Thanks for checking it out! Xten is a great pad so I can see why you're happy with it tbh. I'm just in too deep to stop trying new pads at this point 😂
Difficult to say, it would come down to the type of mouse I was using. If I'm using something light with small PTFE dot skates, then the GPZ1 is probably going to give me better control, for everything else I'd probably use the G-SR, QinSui 2 Pro or Equate which perform more consistently on heavier mice or those with larger or ceramic skates. GPZ1 for me, works at its best in very specific mouse scenarios e.g. Starlight-12

@@GoodEnoughTechReviews Yeah, that's the thing. It will either way just sort itself out.

What were people's thoughts on the GPZ1?
Awesome review mate! Been using the MZ1 for a few days it's improved my aim considerably might have to try this just see how the combination feels :D
Very well explained brother. Thanks for the detailed breakdown. Definitely thinking about trying one out soon.
Thanks for checking out the review! Look forward to seeing it on your channel in the future too!

Thanks mate! As long as I've helped people make a more informed purchasing decision then it's all been worthwhile!
Epic review
Thank you! Hope you found it useful

and doesn't it really interfere with different speeds with different movements? It's almost like acceleration in Windows
I mean everybody talks about the tag, but dude! cut it! XD
I didn't mind it too much but I can see people not wanting to damage their pad tbh
Do you prefer it over something like the GSR or equate?
