I cannot tell you how much I love and appreciate your videos. I am a new quilter, and have many questions. Often times when asking questions, I get a sigh in response. I have learned so much from your videos, and it’s gotten me even more excited to take the next step in my quilting journey. I live in Seattle, and will happily make the truck to your store for supplies, encouragement, and education. Thank you so much, and please keep up the great work! You definitely have earned a loyal customer in me. See you soon!

I have hand sewn a queen sized reversible story/memory quilt for my granddaughter and am 2/3 through hand quilting. As a first time inexperienced quilter I found it very exciting to just make up story blocks and add photos etc and make it up as I go. Took me 20 months so far and I’m more experienced now. Also helped me through our strict lockdown. Will take this quilt to South Africa next month. Thank you so much for your words and tutorial. Love from Melbourne Australia.

BabyGurl don't apologize for the length.
I too have a medical background & can appreciate your detailed instructions.
Imagine someone putting all their time in constructing a quilt top, only to take shortcuts putting it all together 😳😫🥴😪😰😭😱
    Oh the tears 😢 😭 💔
I used to enjoy the quilting process, but with my back, I'm kinda dreading it & just might have to breakdown & purchase a Long-Arm...
Thanks for the detailed tutorial. ❤️😊❤️

Love love this video. It’s so long but SO informative. I have only been quilting about 19 months. I have learned everything on RUclips. I was just about to start a quilting class in March of 2020. It was shut down due to the pandemic. I bought my machine a cheap domestic at Walmart before the crazy hit. I just started watching videos. I love the piecing. I have started learning some appliqué because my granddaughter wants a sun bonnet Sue quilt. I am not so sure about the appliqué. Lol It take more time and I am impatient. I also homeschool my last three kiddos so I have a limited amount of time. I just had a new grand baby and I made him a baby blanket that I free motioned quilted on my little domestic. I am not sure I would do that again either my machine I don’t feel like was heavy enough. It’s a Brother SQ9285. It’s a beautiful machine to piece with though. I am currently considering a Juki which would be a heavier machine. Lol I said all of that to say thank you sweet lady for giving people like me all of that wisdom! I love the video.

That was very informative and I really enjoyed it. I'm a beginner quilter and as I watched I started binding my second big quilt, a 98 x 72 graduation quilt for my son, and throughout the video, I was thinking "I wish she'd do one on binding". I was really happy to see those end messages! I've binded several baby quilts and one twin, but for this quilt, I could only find silk thread to match the binding. It's a lot...silkier and I'm finding it more difficult. Also, thanks for all the videos on masks. Even though, I just got my machine in December and it took me a month to figure out how to thread it (I hadn't touched a machine since 1974 and my owner's class wasn't until Feb 26th), thanks to your videos, I have been able to make many masks for family, friends and now some of my teacher friends who are heading back to school. It is very good of you to share your knowledge so thoroughly like you do. Much appreciated!

I recently finished an epp king size quilt (2 years to make) and then hand quilted it probs 2-3” apart … for me the knack is to design it myself … the last one was circles and straight lines to look like fireworks … but put in 6 hour days to finish it by Christmas … quilting took a month … but the result was amazing … I hate machine quilting myself .. unless it’s a baby quilt, and limited long arms where I live (wales uk).

I thread a bunch of needles onto the spool and create a knot at the end to keep them on. When I need a new thread and needle, I can just use the first needle and pull off the 18ish inches.

Well I wish I had Innova but someday. I think it’s the best long arm in the market. However I did just get Qnique 15 pro and I’ll be practicing on that one awhile. It’s not a bad machine it feels like fighting a jet! You can’t just sit down and get the graceful movements the pros do who have done this awhile.
