      I created newworkgroup and used same, but still not able to see the table content.

    Thank you for the explanation. But we have unstructured json data (it might contain a list of list multiple arry in side json) it gives an error if we try to add it into Athena . What would be the better approach?

      You need to use Glue job first to convert the data in to required format using crawlers and data refineries tasks store it in Data catalog tables. And then you can use Athena to Query it.

    i have one doubt in real world projects as a data scientist how do extract the data (while learning we used to download datasets from kaggle) can you please clarify this

    hey hi.....how to join tables in athena for example one json file contains about customer detail other json file contains about transactional details how we join both these tables in athena could you please help me regarding this...

      You can use athena query to merge two tables. Try to find docs.aws.amazon.com/athena/latest/ug/select.html

      Like in sql query, you would use merge or join query to merge two source table.

    querying in athena is returning 0 records

      Looks either data there in the file from AWS S3 bucket or Athena is extracting data properly.
