Switch Dock Charger for Nintendo Switch, Mirabox 30W Portable TV Docking Station for Nintendo Switch with 4K@60Hz HDMI/USB2.0/PD USB-C Fast Charging Ports, Full-Featured USB-C to USB-C Cable included
This is a charging hub that will provide 25 watts via USB-C (5,9,12,15, and 20 volts) as well as 5 watts via the USB-A port. It also will allow you to export HDMI (4k@60hz) from a compatible device.
It is colored and designed to be used as a travel charging/docking solution for a Nintendo Switch, but will also work as a USB Hub / HDMI output for a laptop. When used with my laptop, I could export video and connect to devices in the USB-A port without the device being plugged in. (It acted as a USB-C hub/HDMI output dongle). If you plug it in, it will also charge your laptop over the USB-C port at up to 25 watts.
When used with a Nintendo switch however, the device MUST be plugged in and providing power to the switch before the switch will go into "docking" mode and export HDMI video out to a TV or projector.
Everything worked as expected, and the only wrinkle I had was that it refused to charge a large powerbank that had USB-C "in/out" capabilities. Apparently the two devices both wanted to export power, so the switch dock didn't charge the powerbank. [It did charge my laptop and cell phone without issues, so you could theoretically use it to charge all of your devices, although 25 watts is on the lower end for most laptops.]

yea nintendo expects you use their dock which requires power, so every dock for the switch requires power.
You do need to be careful though, as in the past some switch docks have fried switches. the switch isn't technically using all the standards the correct way and the voltage it needs to have has to be the exact same as the real charger/dock.
