Josh, what in the heck are you saying that you’re going to repair this yourself. Since it’s an insurance repair and it’s the other guys fault have them Repair and you don’t have to do a thing. You don’t have the time to be repairing vehicles and taking care of the farm too But a reputable Shop do it all and pay for the rental.
my brother....I have a good friend that runs a body shop. Insurance is paying around $4k. I can buy all the parts for around $800-$1200 and do all the repairs myself....pay my buddy $200 for the labor and pocket $2400....mama didn't raise no dummy lol.....why pay someone to do it when I enjoy doing this kinda thing anyhow ...it's fun! Got that shop up there just waiting for me to work in it!
LOVE the happy cows running!!! 🥰🥰 I always enjoy when Miss Stoney Ridge is gittin 'er DONE!!!! She's SOOO CUTE, and has a great smile!!! I'm way old enough to be her Mom!!!🥰🥰🥰
On the sharp corners with the pigtail step in post, I take a plastic step in post or two and stick them in the ground at an angle to support the pigtail corner that hard pull. I’ve seen it on one of Greg Judy‘s videos. I was trying to send you a picture, but I can’t figure out how to attach it to this comment.
yep.....you can rig up a sharp corner if ya want. But remember this poly braid is heavier than regular polybraid...and the longer the run the harder the pull....I've rigged up corner braces before for sure...this stuff is just a little different
I hate that your element got banged up, Josh. I had one once and regret ever selling it. They're very utilitarian little vehicles, I especially liked the rear stadium seating! The beef ribs looked freaking amazing, man! Hope you two enjoyed them! Wooooo!
Come to my belly short ribs. Nice BBQ meat and just right. If you live on a farm you might as well enjoy the benefits of raising steers for freezer meat.
My cows act the same way, funny how the cows go crazy jumping and kickin in a new paddock. I am the same way as you yelling fence and hoping they don't roll it over. A hold your breath moment. I put a temporary fence around my hayfield with Timeless fence posts and 3 strands of poly wire and hope the deer don't take it down. A couple more days and then they are onto their new paddock I understand your anxiety. Whoo farmer rod
I bought a 2003 Element about a year ago. Clean, mostly well maintained, 183 K miles approx. Now has just over 210 K miles. I use it as my daily drver, SxS, UTV, ATV, etc. Like you said, my rear seats are in a storage building. As a matter being prepared & equiped, I want to securely mount and lock a long gun in the rear area. It will be butt forward, paralell to the driver's side body panels. I wonder if you have seen any similar applications. I might add a rifle after I improve my economy, but for now it will an old but very dependable 12ga semi-auto shotgun. Your ideas and experience is appreciated. Spence McMaster
The first thing cattle do when put in a new pasture is walk the fence and believe me they'll find any holes. We always put out a sack or two of feed to slow them down.
I have farm bureau and dropped state farm like a hot rock about 8 years ago.....it's better, more personable and cheaper believe it or not. The person that hit me had State Farm....they wouldn't even come out to do the estimate, the made me send pix and lowballed the repairs .....I've been on the phone and email with them over 50 times with this incident!!
yep...his insurance is State farm...Mine is Farm Bureau and I'll never go back to State Farm!! I was being moderately sarcastic...state farm has been horrible to work with!
@@StoneyRidgeFarmer Way to go Josh! You got to stay on top of your game that's for sure. You do have some pretty good looking stock there, Good luck Josh.
google search "line breeding" it's very common in grazing animals....it's not uncommon for a bull to breed his daughters....or a buck deer to do the same. Read up on line breeding...it's interesting

Eating supper while watching this. I am going for a sleep stuudy to see if a BiPAP machine would be better for me than a CPAP.
ask about the new implants they are doing now!
those Honda repairs are closer to twice the $4000
that's what I said, but State farm has been low balling me!!!
Usually cows tend not to eat the grass under the trees, maybe because it's sour.
hmm...not my cows...they'll gladly eat any grass or weed ....except dog fennel

Hey Josh, I seen a red cow in all those black ones. You thinking about a new breed?
