I find this video very impressive, since even if he put every individual frame of the 14 minute video which runs at around 30-60 frames per second into a software that imports it into Minecraft, they would have had to have ENDLESS patience, since I did the math and that would sum up to be around 25200-50400 individual frames. (14x60x60=50400 or 14x60x30=25200) He then would have had to sync the audio to the animation in editing, or using a data/texture pack and commands.
The animation is actually made with 24 frames per second, but yeah the actual video might be running at 60 Also the audio syncing is like SUPER easy, just use the audio from the avmath video and even though you would have to be patient for everything to export it's not really a big deal since all you have to do is sit there and wait

I'm sure there are lots of tools floating around to quickly mod in whatever you want. I don't want to downplay the tech that's on display here. To code in something like this takes massive skill. But end users can have lots of things automated.

You just need to make a few macros and go grab a coffee while the frames are stripped. Then they're ready to import into whatever Minecraft mod he's using. It's fiddly, but manageable.

Spritecraft or pixelstacker(if you want more accurate colors using a layer of stained glass). Some kind of script to automatically run the frames through those. Also, a script to put the schematics into the game automatically lines up. A datapack to automatically copy and paste them and a script to screenshot them after the paste. Then, use ffmpeg to turn the screenshots into a video and add back the audio.

I am going to tell you this must have taken a lot more work to create than animating such a masterpiece on a computer. Either way you put it, this would take a lot of work to create. The reason: Minecraft is known for having cubes, and circles are hard to create. Another scenario: a green screen was involved, which I do not think is the case, so I will let this scenario slide.
My thoughts on how this was made (based off of others basically doing the same thing) A custom mod was used to paste the keyed out frames. This mod also had commands that would play every single frame at the correct speed to recreate the video with floating blocks. Nowhere close to the amount of work needed to animate and create the animation itself, but there was still effort into converting it into Minecraft.
