All computers,no matter what kind,never truly delete things..the "deleted" things are only considered deleted when other Data writes over it.Maybe when the battle was happening,as more attacks were constantly being programmed,Haltmann was being written over by that data.The Near OHKO maybe took LOADS of data,and when over..only got a highly distorted,slow scream from Haltmann,truly making him deleted from existence as Star Dream explodes..
I think that the NOVA used a distorted version of Haltmann’s scream. It is the same scream, I checked. Maybe Star Dream still had the tiniest piece of Haltmann that couldn’t be deleted, just a sort remnant. When the heart died, the remnant was destroyed and because it and the heart were destroyed at the sam time the heart and remnant both felt pain and the heart emitted that scream using what was left of the remnant.

Star Dream Soul OS (whatever OS means) is probably the saddest, most horrifying boss in the series. So sad I legit cried at the ending. Watching NOVA's heart completely collapse as Haltmann screams in pain is more unnerving than any horror game I've played.
I have a theory. You know how when NOVA gets to GO!!, it reads "Fatal Error." Well, Mr. Haltmann's wish is to bring back Susie, but she already there. So, that's why I think that happens.

To be fair, Arenas & True arenas have been a thing ever since... Kirby Super Star, I think (True Arenas first debuting in Super Star Ultra, of course). I myself don't see them changing anytime soon, but it's not like it's a 100% true fact that they'll remain like this forever.
I mean yes, the name "Arena" first started in Super Star, but we've had Boss Rush modes since Adventure. But no extra story or battles took place in them until Super Star Ultra, which I think is a fantastic idea which they even went one step further with in Triple Deluxe, adding a whole new phase with each final boss.

Like, in Kirby Super Star Ultra they threw in Marx Soul, whom apparently merged with the remains of the Galactic Nova from before. In MetaKnightmare Ultra, it showed that the Nova (while damaged) was not properly destroyed. So the fact that its pieces could still harbor some power is something to be considered. But the thing to regard about the True Arena isn't Marx, no, but the fact that in that Arena, you fight Galacta Knight as Kirby. (This has a purpose, just hold up.) Move forward to Kirby's Return to Dreamland. Magolor is there~ You get 120 shining pieces, talk to him twice. He mentions someone from [Another Dimension] spoke to him about Kirby. Forward to the True Arena in Return to Dreamland, the pause menu reveals something about Galacta Knight. In red, it mentions Galacta Knight is from [Another Dimension]. SO, using context clues, and the fact that I seriously doubt this was randomly placed information. Galacta Knight recalls facing off with Kirby in the True Arena from Superstar Ultra. Galacta Knight must be the culprit assisting in Magolor's awareness of Kirby's existence. Galacta Knight is a very mysterious and enigmatic being. But like you mentioned, there's some kind of secret canon following him and his appearances in these arenas.

Could Galacta Knight be the one pulling Kirby into these Arenas in the first place? And giving the other bosses who have a grudge against him one more chance at revenge?
Oh god. In MKR, He gets summoned from the other dimension, and at defeat resealed and sent back to another dimension. He also got resealed and sent back home in KSSU, and you fought him in another dimension in KRtDL. Here, you defeat him and he flies out. not into other universe, just out in the air. It means, that finally, Galacta Knight is free to roam the main Kirby universe. DEAR LORD WHAT HAVE YOU DONE
First we had Zero ripping his eye out of its socket, then we have Marx splitting in half and screaming, we have Haltmann, a LOST, SAD, Father, Screaming and Groaning in Agony as you continue to make him suffer, and then Hyness, another lost soul who was banished to the other side of the universe for the ancients fearing their power because he destroyed Void Termina, and now he's trying to RE-SUMMON void termina because he is insane!
You might already know this, but star dream turned into star dream soul os because of the slash galacta Knight did when you fight him (and the slash is still visible during the star dream fight)

It took me about 7 times to beat this true arena! Even with the leaf ability! I would always die at one of star dreams phases. And that final attack that he does when he dies will actually hit you EVEN WHEN YOU ARE GUARDING WITH LEAF! That got me on the second to final attempt and I was TICKED! without amibos this is hands down the hardest arena in my opinion, just because of the star dream soul boss.

When I first played the True Arena in Planet Robobot, I failed so many times. But I finally completed it. Also, when I fought Star Dream Soul OS, I didn’t hear Haltmann’s groans. Also, I dodged the OS’ final attack at the first try I finally did it.

I could never do this with no abilities. I could hardly do this without Archer(it's invincibility crouch which I admit is cheap). It took me like 10 tries to do it with poison legit.
I still think no abilities is the way to go in most true arenas because the stars actually do quite a lot of damage. I actually did what Meteorz did in the vid but it took a while.

When Star Dream Soul OS fires his 2 lasers, there's an easy way to dodge it. You can go in between the two lasers, but when those lasers come towards you, you can just quickly get out of the way.
If you pay close attention, there’s a splash of purple liquid when Haltmann 2.0 is defeated. This means he’s probably just a clone of the original Haltmann, explaining how he was brought back in Meta Knightmare Returns/the True Arena

i noticed that fighting the heart during star dream soul OS, some of the attacks are like marx! dont believe me? go to 52:25 where he does an attack similar to marx's cutter attack 54:42 half is blue and half is red like marx's hat, but it also splits
I will say, the length of the Star Dream Soul OS fight wouldn't be as bad if you took more opportunities to destroy and scan the destroyable objects the boss throws at you. You can get a full power shot off of every single attack sequence. Another tip for the Star Dream Soul OS fight? DO A BARREL ROLL! TO BARRLE ROLL PRESS L OR R TWICE!

+xXMeteorXx actually, Star Dream Core's description changes when he enters phase 2. After you destroy all the pillars of phase 1, the text changes to the one you read. In other words, Kirby was the one who killed Haltmann. The screams are the sound of you erasing him from the system. Permanently.
Something I’ve noticed about Holo Defense API, it seems like the same structure as Ado (Dreamland 3)/Adeliene’s (K64-CS) fights Best Compared to her fight in Dreamland 3 (Ado is her nickname by the way). The Boss creates a past image of a previous boss come to life Has at least five rounds/phases to the fight (4 are the Copies, and the last is the creator itself). One phase has two individual bosses paired together (Mr Shine and Mr Bright, Holo Doomers). Both Kracko and Ice Dragon are present in the fights. The Last Phase has you take out the Main Boss themselves but they only take one hit to defeat them, even bumping into them/letting them hit you will still win you the fight. It’s a nice parallel I managed to noticed about the painter girl and Pseudo Pix, although yeah, it would’ve been so much cooler if they brought back Computer Virus instead.
I attempted this challenge, with the added stipulation that I could not use Kirby's floating ability I got to Galacta Knight. You'd be surprised how many attacks you can just jump over, including Haltmann and Susie's charges.
I think its safe to say that Susie is the same to Planet Robobot as Taranza to Triple Deluxe - they both did something stupid which ended up unimaginably bad.
The only differences was WHEN they did something stupid. Taranza did something stupid before sectonias corruption as the stupid thing he did caused sectonia to become corrupted while susie didnt cause the mess with her and haltmann (That was star dreams fault.) but when haltmann was going to use the control helmet she decided to steal it from him making what was already bad to begin with worse.
The sad thing is, is that I didn't know those final heartbeats could kill you even if you're transformed into a stone. So I got excited, thinking that I was gonna beat it, and then it killed me when I was transformed into a stone so... lesson learned. CURSE YOU STAR DREAM!
I am just glad, that Kracko is not in the true arena, he is harder than Galacta Knight in Super Star Ultra! I am not sure about the secret final boss though, I have never fought him.

Also, when I fought Star Dream Soul OS, I didn’t hear Haltmann’s groans. Also, I dodged the OS’ final attack at the first try I finally did it.

I could never do this with no abilities. I could hardly do this without Archer(it's invincibility crouch which I admit is cheap). It took me like 10 tries to do it with poison legit.

I still think no abilities is the way to go in most true arenas because the stars actually do quite a lot of damage. I actually did what Meteorz did in the vid but it took a while.

When Star Dream Soul OS fires his 2 lasers, there's an easy way to dodge it. You can go in between the two lasers, but when those lasers come towards you, you can just quickly get out of the way.

I will say, the length of the Star Dream Soul OS fight wouldn't be as bad if you took more opportunities to destroy and scan the destroyable objects the boss throws at you. You can get a full power shot off of every single attack sequence.
Another tip for the Star Dream Soul OS fight? DO A BARREL ROLL! TO BARRLE ROLL PRESS L OR R TWICE!

I've beaten this once with solo-Hammer but would like to do it again with MIrror Ability because reflecting projectiles is fun (if only the "Fatal Error" didn't obliterate my otherwise best run lol)!

Triple Deluxe's was MUCH harder in difficulty, but this one took far more willpower to do so, because of how ridiculously long it was...
+xXMeteorXx actually, Star Dream Core's description changes when he enters phase 2. After you destroy all the pillars of phase 1, the text changes to the one you read. In other words, Kirby was the one who killed Haltmann. The screams are the sound of you erasing him from the system. Permanently.

Something I’ve noticed about Holo Defense API, it seems like the same structure as Ado (Dreamland 3)/Adeliene’s (K64-CS) fights
Best Compared to her fight in Dreamland 3 (Ado is her nickname by the way).
The Boss creates a past image of a previous boss come to life
Has at least five rounds/phases to the fight (4 are the Copies, and the last is the creator itself).
One phase has two individual bosses paired together
(Mr Shine and Mr Bright,
Holo Doomers).
Both Kracko and Ice Dragon are present in the fights.
The Last Phase has you take out the Main Boss themselves
but they only take one hit to defeat them, even bumping into them/letting them hit you will still win you the fight.
It’s a nice parallel I managed to noticed about the painter girl and Pseudo Pix, although yeah, it would’ve been so much cooler if they brought back Computer Virus instead.
Sdctonia Clone appears only in DX or Expert mode or exclusively 2.0. Mode so she use her Dx attacks respectively

I got to Galacta Knight. You'd be surprised how many attacks you can just jump over, including Haltmann and Susie's charges.

I think its safe to say that Susie is the same to Planet Robobot as Taranza to Triple Deluxe - they both did something stupid which ended up unimaginably bad.
The only differences was WHEN they did something stupid. Taranza did something stupid before sectonias corruption as the stupid thing he did caused sectonia to become corrupted while susie didnt cause the mess with her and haltmann (That was star dreams fault.) but when haltmann was going to use the control helmet she decided to steal it from him making what was already bad to begin with worse.
So I had accidentally gotten hit by the laser attack in the Haltmann fight.
It does a decent amount of chip damage, then sends you at the screen.
The sad thing is, is that I didn't know those final heartbeats could kill you even if you're transformed into a stone. So I got excited, thinking that I was gonna beat it, and then it killed me when I was transformed into a stone so... lesson learned.

I am just glad, that Kracko is not in the true arena, he is harder than Galacta Knight in Super Star Ultra! I am not sure about the secret final boss though, I have never fought him.

Fun fact - Kabula's 'New' attacks show with the regular one in story mode, but only if you're willing to wait enough time for it.
