Ahhhhhh, the True Arena in Triple Deluxe. When I first beat it, I went through it as Beetle Kirby. When I got to Queen Sectonia, she hit me and I lost Beetle. I was mad. Then I was like, I CAN DEFEAT YOU WITHOUT A POWER UP! And I did! Then I fought her soul, I noticed that she majority of her attacks are similar to Marx Soul attacks so I wasn't too surprised on what she was going to do. When I beat her soul, I was like, YES! I FINALLY BEAT THE TRUE ARENA! Toughest True Arena I have ever done

Well, that was about as badass as I get. Nowhere near you!
It grinds my gears that most people criticize Kirby games for being too easy, and having a lack of story. I agree about the main game bring too easy, but there's also the True Arena. I bet most people never heard play True Arena. The True Arena is definitely a pain, but pretty good for Hardcore players. As for the storylines, If you pay attention to the plot or the canons, kirby has some really dark and interesting storylines/bosses.
To be fair, Pre-KSSU, Kirby games didn't really HAVE any in depth stories... it wasn't until KSSU, where pause screen for lore was even a thing, and only for the new bosses. KRtD is where they started to heavily build on the lore. So if you haven't played any Kirby games since before they released, that's a fair complaint to make, ignorant, but fair.

I always use beetle but I keep dying to king dedede.... At this point I know all the move patterns of each boss and know how to dodge nearly 90% of the moves. True arena is kinda tedious now. Having to fight bosses that I can read completely just to die to dedede kills me slowly. I'm really impressed by this. Doubt I could have done this without an ability
hint the arena(normal mode): when ever king DeDeDe wants to swallow you, get behind him and do your best attacks. DX Mode hint: well use beetle and press up and quikcly peress be and do attacks that are powerfull thats all I know but if any questions I will try my best to answer the question :)
This pretty much encapsulates part of what I absolutely detest about Triple Deluxe. Bosses have this unbearable habit of making themselves very difficult/impossible to hit for 90% of their fights. Kirby bosses were always about risk vs. reward. Knowing when to go in for the hit, and when to stay back and play the defensive. Now it's like "this is when I'm attacking, and this is when you're allowed to hit me." Planet Robobot, while it didn't fix this, nor do I believe it'll ever be fixed, it was much better and felt much more bearable.

Whenever Meteorz is talking about the difficulty of the knight bosses he always puts Dark Meta Knight RV on such a high pedestal as if the gap between Dark Meta Knight RV and the likes of Morpho Knight EX, KA Meta Knight, and even AM Dark Meta Knight is massive. I've fought Dark Meta Knight several times and I acknowledge that he is difficult for how frequently he guards and how aggressive he is, but I've had equal as much trouble fighting Morpho Knight EX for different reasons.

i can't even complete the true arena with any ability with guarding and healing, i'm always stuck on the last phase of soul of sectonia or you could say it's the fifth phase also on the 4th phase if the plants attack you on the ground when they do their electric smash thing, they will go up instead
So far I've made it to 2 left on the True Arena with no abilities. I survived Shadow Dedede with 1 hp on my first try getting to him, so as you can probably figure, I don't have the muscle memory or patterns down for Dark Meta Knight or Sectonia Soul yet. But I'm getting there.
In all honesty, Queen Sectonia's battle themes for her first and second form literally sound like something out of a Final Fantasy game. Maybe thats just my thoughts but still.
Idk why (mostly cause I suck) I can only use Leaf to beat true arena. I just played a second beating of TA (true arena) and almost lost to dark Metaknight. I beat him by chipping his health every time I come out of shield, and finished him off when doing his mirror attacks. I definitely can't do it without abilities.
+Di Luigi I tried hammer and died within the last 4 due to health. I mean Planet Robobot's TA is actually easier. Even though I cheat and use amiibo ;-(
I believe this is the easiest true arena in my opinion (I also beat it with abilities so it was kind of easier for me so props to you for not using power ups).
Its such a shame that the harder attacks of these bosses don't come into play unless you delay the fight, as seen here for example on Kracko. Would be even harder otherwise.
Luce Seyfarth That's debatable, the later attacks just SEEM harder, because they appear so late, its very rare that you even have to practice up against such attacks. And without having practice, you would have no prior knowledge of how to dodge said attack.
True, not all of them are harder. The prime example of how delaying the fight is dangerous is dark meta knight, whose second form you can easily kill or at least considerably weaken while he does his first, skripted attacks, where he also doesn't block. Also I didn't find a way to reliably dodge Soul of Sectonia's attack at 34:48. But it's just amazing how many different attacks the designers put in this time. To this day I still see a new one here and there.
I'm not done quite done with Robobot as of yet (just starting Metaknightmare Returns), but from what I can see it's even worse than in Triple Deluxe :/ The first time you fight each Boss isn't so bad (if you don't use powers), because you will naturally be slower and see more attacks this way. Btw, now I know there's another Meta Knight fight later, shouldn't have read your comment :P Thats what you get for living in europe, where all these Kirby games come out at a later time than everywhere else...

I've read a couple theories on kirby wiki, one says queen sectonia may have been manipulating all past soul bosses. The text during her final battle says she's fed off countless hosts. Another one says that queen sectonia may not be entirely dead, if you watch the cutscene where soul of sectonia explodes, a bunch of flower petals rain down. Then as the cutscene ends, a single blue petal falls, implying that sectonia may come back.
Now I don't really understand that theory. Unless The bee Sectonia wasn't her true form to begin with, anything she feeds off of still has a resemblance to her structure, Marx, Magolor, and Drawcia did not. A better, though still farfetched theory is this: Its implied by Paintra DX's description that someone brought her and Drawcia to FORM originally. Possibly Adeline, and so Drawcia's soul was a ball of paint. Maybe Marx, Magolor, and Queen Sectonia were all originally paintings Adeline made. That STILL wouldn't hold water, because Magolor came from a different dimension entirely, and if he is to believed, Marx came from the same dimension.
Yeah, and that's possible too, I even mentioned that in my RtD True Arena run. =P But a lot of people seem to think he's referencing Marx for some reason...
+Andrew Santori Dark Mind, and Dark Meta Knight are to blame for this happening, but Taranza as well...You see there's Dreamland then there's the Mirror World high in the skies above Dreamland where Sectonia lives. If you know the amazing mirror story or not I'll give you the short version. Basically there's a Mirror named the Dimensional Mirror that links the Mirror World to a world corrupted by Dark Mind (main villain). And Dark Meta Knight shatters the Dimensional Mirror all across Mirror World, now it's up to kirby to get them all back. Once you gather all the shards of the Dimensional Mirror you face off with Dark Mind, and Dark Meta Knight once they're defeated Kirby leaves the corrupted Dimensional Mirror, and shatters the Dimensional Mirror again trapping them inside. Now maybe Taranza collected all the pieces together again somehow, and restored the mirror offering it to Sectonia. After day after day of staring into it she became insane with power due to Dark Meta Knight possibly putting voices in her head controlling her causing her to go insane.

Holy shit... Super Star Ultra's True Arena : "not too much of a challenge" ? Granted, it was my first Kirby game, but this mode nearly made me lose my mind xD
When I first played the True Arena on my digital copy, I used Hammer, but I lost it in my battle against Soul of Sectonia's first phase. I nowadays use Sword just to fight against Dark Meta Knight equally, and I mimic every of his moves. I even won against Shadow Dedede without taking any damage in my most recent run. However, I always lost to Soul of Sectonia. Great run though!
Ok, I want to make two comments but i'll do the other later as for this one I'll just say my theories on Triple Deluxe 1. Triple Deluxe takes place after the events of Milky Way Wishes... or at least the Super star Ultra version of it. This is mostly due to the fact that the animation style is the same as ultra's, King Dedede's castle being similar (even changes expressions), and both games having Kirby's Stone house appear (in the ending of super star and both the beginning and end of Triple Deluxe) 2. Sectonia DX is the original Sectonia. This is a personal opinion but the mirror Sectonia may have managed to switch places with the real sectonia (thus explains why Sectonia DX didn't shatter like the other mirror bosses) the real one (and thus soul of sectonia) my have held on though sheer will power (that and she did fuse with a flower). 3. Sectonia used Kirby's memories to make Soul of Sectonia(second phase). this is mainly due to the fact that she shares moves with the other Soul Bosses, from Drawica is the flaming ball attack, From marx is the vine(Roses and Thorns), Teleport cutter, and Paint Rain attacks(I know drawica used this but i'm crediting marx since I think he was the first to launch it in a different direction other than above), and Maglor for the Lasers and minion summoning...Speaking of souls... 4. All Soul bosses are related to the Seven deadly sins. Drawica(also fun fact: in the japanese version Paintra is confirmed to be Drawica's sister, so Canvas Curse is Canon), Marx is likely Wrath due to the fact that the first thing he did when he was revived was to attack kirby, Maglor is sloth since he had kirby do all the hard work to get the master crown, and Sectonia is Avarice(greed) as she wanted to be come a beauty but she became a beast. next comment on this video is what I think of each boss in this boss rush... but for now i'm done

No, because Marx Soul was originally a reference to Drawcia Soul. Marx Soul copied a lot of Drawcia's attacks, the same way Soul of Sectonia copied a lot of Marx Soul's attacks.
This game is my childhood. It was in fact my first kirby game, and I really liked it. But Star Allies is my favorite still. But I hate Kracko's battle in that game, many phases on that one. First Kracko Jr, then Kracko, the Twin Kracko, then the dag nabbit difficult Big Kracko. But Morpho Knight is still a nightmare to fight.
I think ur skilled enough to beqt this no-hit. Ir would take a bit longer than this to figure out but its really just intensive attack pattern studying

for flowery wood's attack you were talking about at 12:55 you just keep running in one direction and turn the other way at the last moment so you get between the corner and the other root. Also I'm STILL stuck on dark meta knight's revenge!
True, good thing its near impossible to actually get hit by that attack though! =P (I got hit by it intentionally to see just how much damage it DID do, and it did anywhere from 20-25%, quite underwhelming)
Canonically, Galacta Knight was sealed away for being too strong. As such, he only loses to Kirby and Metaknight due to him not being at his full power after being awakened. So, if he had time to get ready, Galacta Knight.
Yeah but that was in his time. It's not known how much time had past since he was sealed but it's probably at least a few hundred years. So while he may have been the strongest a few hundred years ago, Kirby and Meta Knight surpass him in power in modern times.
You have air dodges and blocking. Why don't you use them? You are making the fights harder then they are supposed to because you aren't using the game's defensive system as well as the healing items the game gives you. I can understand wanting to take bosses on the traditional way as that was how you fought bosses in Dreamland 1 but no healing or guarding. You have to be crazy to attempt that.
Great video. I hate True Arena. True Arena is nothing but hard even with Hammer Kirby. I tried dodging the opponents' attacks, nothing worked. I hate dodging. Why I dodge poorly? I hate CPUs and hards. CPUs and hards ruined I need to dodge opponents' attacks. It's getting annoying. They're tearing me apart. Even tips from the computer doesn't help either. I just used Archer and crouched the entire time. When they finished there attack, i charged the Super arrow then attacked. wash, rinsed, and repeated!

+Di Luigi I tried hammer and died within the last 4 due to health. I mean Planet Robobot's TA is actually easier. Even though I cheat and use amiibo ;-(
It's hard, but learn about the invincibilty frames, and you win basically every time. I did it once, without healing.

Just try some things out. I did it withing 12 minutes at my 3rd go.
I believe this is the easiest true arena in my opinion (I also beat it with abilities so it was kind of easier for me so props to you for not using power ups).
Return to Dreamland is the easiest for me, but that might be because I have played that game for about 5 years

Its such a shame that the harder attacks of these bosses don't come into play unless you delay the fight, as seen here for example on Kracko. Would be even harder otherwise.
Luce Seyfarth That's debatable, the later attacks just SEEM harder, because they appear so late, its very rare that you even have to practice up against such attacks. And without having practice, you would have no prior knowledge of how to dodge said attack.
True, not all of them are harder. The prime example of how delaying the fight is dangerous is dark meta knight, whose second form you can easily kill or at least considerably weaken while he does his first, skripted attacks, where he also doesn't block. Also I didn't find a way to reliably dodge Soul of Sectonia's attack at 34:48.
But it's just amazing how many different attacks the designers put in this time. To this day I still see a new one here and there.
I'm not done quite done with Robobot as of yet (just starting Metaknightmare Returns), but from what I can see it's even worse than in Triple Deluxe :/
The first time you fight each Boss isn't so bad (if you don't use powers), because you will naturally be slower and see more attacks this way.

I've read a couple theories on kirby wiki, one says queen sectonia may have been manipulating all past soul bosses. The text during her final battle says she's fed off countless hosts. Another one says that queen sectonia may not be entirely dead, if you watch the cutscene where soul of sectonia explodes, a bunch of flower petals rain down. Then as the cutscene ends, a single blue petal falls, implying that sectonia may come back.
Now I don't really understand that theory. Unless The bee Sectonia wasn't her true form to begin with, anything she feeds off of still has a resemblance to her structure, Marx, Magolor, and Drawcia did not. A better, though still farfetched theory is this: Its implied by Paintra DX's description that someone brought her and Drawcia to FORM originally. Possibly Adeline, and so Drawcia's soul was a ball of paint. Maybe Marx, Magolor, and Queen Sectonia were all originally paintings Adeline made. That STILL wouldn't hold water, because Magolor came from a different dimension entirely, and if he is to believed, Marx came from the same dimension.

+Andrew Santori Dark Mind, and Dark Meta Knight are to blame for this happening, but Taranza as well...You see there's Dreamland then there's the Mirror World high in the skies above Dreamland where Sectonia lives. If you know the amazing mirror story or not I'll give you the short version. Basically there's a Mirror named the Dimensional Mirror that links the Mirror World to a world corrupted by Dark Mind (main villain). And Dark Meta Knight shatters the Dimensional Mirror all across Mirror World, now it's up to kirby to get them all back. Once you gather all the shards of the Dimensional Mirror you face off with Dark Mind, and Dark Meta Knight once they're defeated Kirby leaves the corrupted Dimensional Mirror, and shatters the Dimensional Mirror again trapping them inside. Now maybe Taranza collected all the pieces together again somehow, and restored the mirror offering it to Sectonia. After day after day of staring into it she became insane with power due to Dark Meta Knight possibly putting voices in her head controlling her causing her to go insane.

When I first played the True Arena on my digital copy, I used Hammer, but I lost it in my battle against Soul of Sectonia's first phase. I nowadays use Sword just to fight against Dark Meta Knight equally, and I mimic every of his moves. I even won against Shadow Dedede without taking any damage in my most recent run. However, I always lost to Soul of Sectonia. Great run though!
Ok, I want to make two comments but i'll do the other later
as for this one I'll just say my theories on Triple Deluxe
1. Triple Deluxe takes place after the events of Milky Way Wishes... or at least the Super star Ultra version of it. This is mostly due to the fact that the animation style is the same as ultra's, King Dedede's castle being similar (even changes expressions), and both games having Kirby's Stone house appear (in the ending of super star and both the beginning and end of Triple Deluxe)
2. Sectonia DX is the original Sectonia. This is a personal opinion but the mirror Sectonia may have managed to switch places with the real sectonia (thus explains why Sectonia DX didn't shatter like the other mirror bosses) the real one (and thus soul of sectonia) my have held on though sheer will power (that and she did fuse with a flower).
3. Sectonia used Kirby's memories to make Soul of Sectonia(second phase). this is mainly due to the fact that she shares moves with the other Soul Bosses, from Drawica is the flaming ball attack, From marx is the vine(Roses and Thorns), Teleport cutter, and Paint Rain attacks(I know drawica used this but i'm crediting marx since I think he was the first to launch it in a different direction other than above), and Maglor for the Lasers and minion summoning...Speaking of souls...
4. All Soul bosses are related to the Seven deadly sins. Drawica(also fun fact: in the japanese version Paintra is confirmed to be Drawica's sister, so Canvas Curse is Canon), Marx is likely Wrath due to the fact that the first thing he did when he was revived was to attack kirby, Maglor is sloth since he had kirby do all the hard work to get the master crown, and Sectonia is Avarice(greed) as she wanted to be come a beauty but she became a beast.

No, because Marx Soul was originally a reference to Drawcia Soul. Marx Soul copied a lot of Drawcia's attacks, the same way Soul of Sectonia copied a lot of Marx Soul's attacks.

This game is my childhood. It was in fact my first kirby game, and I really liked it. But Star Allies is my favorite still. But I hate Kracko's battle in that game, many phases on that one. First Kracko Jr, then Kracko, the Twin Kracko, then the dag nabbit difficult Big Kracko. But Morpho Knight is still a nightmare to fight.

Canonically, Galacta Knight was sealed away for being too strong. As such, he only loses to Kirby and Metaknight due to him not being at his full power after being awakened. So, if he had time to get ready, Galacta Knight.
Yeah but that was in his time. It's not known how much time had past since he was sealed but it's probably at least a few hundred years. So while he may have been the strongest a few hundred years ago, Kirby and Meta Knight surpass him in power in modern times.

You have air dodges and blocking. Why don't you use them? You are making the fights harder then they are supposed to because you aren't using the game's defensive system as well as the healing items the game gives you. I can understand wanting to take bosses on the traditional way as that was how you fought bosses in Dreamland 1 but no healing or guarding. You have to be crazy to attempt that.

Great video. I hate True Arena. True Arena is nothing but hard even with Hammer Kirby. I tried dodging the opponents' attacks, nothing worked. I hate dodging. Why I dodge poorly? I hate CPUs and hards. CPUs and hards ruined I need to dodge opponents' attacks. It's getting annoying. They're tearing me apart. Even tips from the computer doesn't help either. The only way is inventions. I hate hards. I want my this game is easy appearance back.
