This might be my favorite song from your first album (close call between this and "When I Was Not but Sweet Sixteen"), and it sounds great on the Brondel! I admittedly was hoping for a tab as I've been wanting to learn this song, but I'm not sure I can even sing and fingerpick at the same time 😅 Looking forward to more performances of songs from your albums 👏👏
@LindsayStraw I'm as excited for this tab as I was for The Island of Woods! I'll be out of town for the next couple weeks but will give this one a go as soon as I return. Thanks SO much 🙏 🙏
@@LindsayStraw as far as the TAB, I usually can't see them and have to redo them (string, fret) in 1/4 inch numerals. I am legally blind. I usually listen and then play. I may not play it exactly like someone else, but close. And then it becomes me/mine. It is TNAG's loss. But again, it was your demo/s that sold me. God bless Thank you.
The patina up and down the fretboard speaks to your ability and practice hours. I just hope the Cordoba cedar gets the same love and care! Carl's demo of the Brondel A2 CocoCS had a weird@$$ pick guard I'm glad you don't have one.
@@LindsayStraw oh wow, I ask cause I’ve been looking into getting a singer songwriter setup, I can’t carry a tune in a bucket, but I want a portable setup for local artist willing to do an acoustic jam. I am curious why so many people sing through Shure SM7B? Good mic, but I never thought it would be a vocal singing mic 🎤
I think the Ear Trumpet beats it. But I am mainly a singer and acoustic rhythm player. I have a claw-hamer finger picking and 4-finger style modified Travis picking style.

Thank you.
As a flatpick guitarist, I never wanted to fingerpick until now. Keep 'em coming.
Lovely playing, beautifully sung
What a great way to start Saturday! Thanks
Thanks, Jeff!
I love this one! I am so glad that you made a video for it as well 😃
Thank you for the beautiful music!
Fantastic as always. Well played.
Video immediately made me grab my guitar
I like to hear that!
Very nice Lindsay ! I love this 🤗
Lovely
Love
Love the song. Love the singing and playing.
Me, too 😊 thank you!
Lovely as always. I like how transparent that microphone sounds. Almost like being in the room.
That's exactly why I love it!
Great job as always. I like the key change.
Thanks, Tim!
Truly beautiful performance!
Thank you so much!

I didn't rush to make it because I thought I had before but realized last night I haven't! So I'll be working on it this weekend 😊
@@LindsayStraw oh wow, that's awesome!! Thanks so much, you really made my day 😃

This is great! Some finger picking I can learn from. Thank you. Are you still at TNAG? THANKS!
Wonderful! I'll be working on the tab soon, too, but it's nothing too crazy. I am not, I left in July!

Thank you.
I bought the book "Chicken Soup For the Soul" - opened it up and it only had two words. I said "Lindsay Straw".
Awwwww 😅

He did a demo of this one, too, but when I thought I might buy it I unlisted it so no one else could fall in love with it 😅
Nailed it!!!!
What interface and DAW do you use?
I'll do a video on this soon, but just using an iRig Pro to capture onto the Recorder app on my phone or tablet, then editing in Premiere Rush.

@@dividedbytimestudios Ah yeah, looks like a popular choice for voice work in general. Can't say I've worked with it, though!

@@texhaines9957 yeah, I think for stuff we do it's hard to beat
