@@EmmMW123 Happy New year to you... I'm not a cradle Catholic, I'm a convert from Baptist well kinda Baptist because the Baptist theology is a mix of things, king James onlyism, Calvinism, dispensationalism, one form of Lutheranism which their are many, Anti-Catholism, ect.. it's crazy, it took me so long to come to the Catholic faith because of the bais I was taught, but once I started to see the errors in the things I was taught it was easy to let my guard down and embrace the Catholic faith, I had no problem forgetting about the "Rapture" and embracing Mary, I had to go back to the beginning of history and work my way up to the reformation to recover the errors of the Reformers and the invention of Sola scriptura as the final authority, instead of the church Authority established by God and handed down as tradition to the through the Apostles.... That's why there are so many denominations, Sola scriptura and private interpretations, private interpretations are accepted in prostantantism, when too believers filled with the Holy Spirit have different interpretations of the same scripture who is correct?? Sola scriptura is vary divisive.....
@@aaronmyers4665 Thank you for sharing your background, Aaron! TBH, I find people who convert to Catholicism to be more knowledgable than people born and raised into the faith (like me and most of the people around me). Drs. Scott Hahn and John Bergsma are two highly-respected Catholics who were originally Protestants (I think), and their works are just amazing! I am so happy you found your way home to the Church🤗 I see the debates all the time about Sola Scriptura and everything that happened after the Reformation, and it is sad to see the division. Heck, even now, we have our own rift within Catholicism with those who follow the Novus Ordo and the traditionalists. I hope that one day, we all truly unite under the one true Church.
@@EmmMW123 I've never taken part in a latin mass, their are none around me, honestly I prefer the mass in English at this point, either way they are still united in basic teachings of the church, the Reformers never could agree on basic fundamental beliefs even to this day
God bless you! BIY and CIY were fantastic for me, and while I already pray the rosary, I am going to follow the RIY as well. Having a faith touchpoint each day makes things much better in all ways.
That’s so great to hear! I’m in the middle of doing BIY and CIY (will be done around April/May) and so excited for RIY. These In a Year podcasts are such blessings🤗
I only realized there’s a book myself when I saw it on the online Catholic store I was browsing through! Thank you so much for watching and Happy New Year🤗🎉
Personally, I prefer physical books just because I tend to mark them, but if you are on the go a lot, the ebook is the best IMO so you don't have to worry about carrying a book. Thanks for watching🤗
Ooooo…I actually don’t know if they will show how to use the book with the podcast but just from looking at it, I think we just read along. It has the reflections that I’m assuming Fr Mark-Mary will discuss on the day of🤗
@@alfredindy8058 Would say yes as they have created a channel for RIY. There is a video that was released today on that channel with Father Mark-Mary and Father Mike. www.youtube.com/@TheRosaryinaYear

I agree🤗 The RIY does sound perfect for everyone: those who have already been praying the rosary regularly and those who don’t. God bless🙏🏽
Have my book and am so excited 🎉
Yay🤗
Me too!
I'm doing BIY and RIY (starting today Jan 1!) I love how the book is laid out and I'm looking forward to this year ❤

I have to hold a physical book in my hand. With my ADHD, my mind is all over the place unless I'm actually holding a book.
Thank you! Will we be able to watch the instruction videos on RUclips? I have my book ready to go.
