Stunning playing. The song is haunting, timeless, mysterious. It feels like it somehow knows about our world from the inside and the outside. Like a long forgotten god or goddess.
Piazzolla's compositions are way underrated outside of the dance community. This is an exceptionally moving interpretation with awe inspiring technique. Would love to see more on your channel.
Wow, wow, wow! Edith Pageaud is an absolute Master of the classical guitar! Her guitar playing is so wonderful and hypnotizing, it's fantastic! Every note she plays sounds clear and rich, and the sound of her guitar is also outstanding! ❤👌
Gosh, where have you been hiding? Astonishing work. Your insight into mood and intent is remarkable - as is your ability to express that sonically in your playing. In particular, your grip on and presentation of the ‘melody’ is a rare gift. Thank you 🎉
Better than the performance current on RUclips by Dyens... IMHO, naturally...That performance was marred by his performing it when not ready for prime time, he hadn't allowed himself sufficient time practicing his difficult arrangement. His exquisite phrasing and passion came through, but it was a little rough and he apologised to audience prior to uncorking it 1st time in public. The performance by Edith Pageaud was quite perfect, quite passionate and the phrasing was nuanced to communicate the romantic dynamics and dreamlike tango (ritardando) pauses of the original with Bandoneon and string orchestra, by Piazolla. Quite moving, loaded with tension and pathos, consummate craftsmanship throughout, Bravo Maestro indeed, and so young...
perfectO....... timing, sway, clarity, manny others play with haste and volume and its shit. your playing carries emotion and feeling, a true joy to listen to. and rare.
I love the bright tone with the dark voicings, detuned bass. It's very difficult to get something so complex to present a coherent "line" through it. Well done.
This is something you can really be proud of. I cannot but agree to all the comments here. This is one of the best interpretations, arrangements and execution of this piece I've heard. Good luck on your journey. You've got a fan! Thanks for this.
Wow! I'm always stunned by people that can play classical guitar with such depth. Your expression on this piece is incredible. Wonderful to listen to. I can't wait for more.
personally, this is one of the best interpretation of this piece i’ve ever heard, the way you make the notes blend in, creating a dynamical ambience, is just beyond my mind!
Absolutely exquisite performance. I had heard this piece before, but never in a way I understood. You really brought it to life to me and I am sure to listen to this again and again. Warm greetings from the USA!
Your performance is outstanding. I've listened to it so many times... Perfect! I aim to reach this level some day! But I still have to learn so much. Hearing this performance motivates me to improve more and more. Thank you! Please forgive me the following superficial comment... Your hands are beautiful. The way you move your fingers is very elegant.
I couldn't resist this performance, one of the best on all of RUclips, I ended up adding it to my daily playlist of my favorite performances, the subtlety, lightness and agility of this performance is truly incredible, of all the versions I've heard of Oblivion, this one is my favorite! I hope one day to play like this 😊, it's an admirable and inspired talent!
So ... I guess this is one of the coolest things I've ever heard. There are great performances, and then there are those that inspire you to play guitar all day. Thank you for your existence
(1) what @beachbarloui78522 said but also (2) one day I want to be able to perform her arrangement of Prelude in C Minor by Rachmaninoff ... she is one of those players who really does show you something new.
Wow... Incredible rendition! I love that you can hear EVERYTHING. Some of the recordings are far too clean and "sanitized" for a piece likes this (in my opinion). I've listened quite a few times and it has slowly but surely become my favourite. Bravo!
I am hooked on this piece after listening again I am so impressed by how crisp you play this song. It’s eerie dark melody combined with the harmonics as well as how you almost hear two melodies being played at the same time is very impressive beautifully played
Thank you >Edith for that beautiful play . I want to by the notes Oblivion - Astor Piazzolla, Its soething in 3 Years or so. For that piece i need long, my good what a genius Edith, it was hard work. Wish the best !
This is a performance to listen to again and again. The music really sings and the guitarist brings out the soul of Piazzolla's masterpiece.
I am really glad you liked it 🙏🏻 thank you
playing guitar with no 'squitch' is an art. your playing is really appreciated, lady.
The ability to play with this level of precision is a testiment to commitment and training on a level few can even comprehend
Stunning playing. The song is haunting, timeless, mysterious. It feels like it somehow knows about our world from the inside and the outside. Like a long forgotten god or goddess.
Beautiful words
This is the best Oblivion arrangement that exists
I am blown away here. Those harmonics, the touch, the soul that Edith puts into this piece. I hunger for more.
She plays it better than Dyens, and that is saying something.
nice username. I'm normally more of a Pantera guy myself but Edith Pageaud might be my new favorite guitarist
My souls needs more. Please continue to post. We love and appreciate your talent ma’am!
I feel how you feel the music. It is a great pleasure to watch and to listen as well. ❤

I don’t even know what’s more beautiful, the music or performer! big Greetings from poland)
Tant d'intelligence dans l'interprétation... quelle plaisir !

Piazzolla's compositions are way underrated outside of the dance community. This is an exceptionally moving interpretation with awe inspiring technique. Would love to see more on your channel.
This is the best solo guitar arrangement for Oblivion, and this performance holds me all day long.
Wow, wow, wow! Edith Pageaud is an absolute Master of the classical guitar! Her guitar playing is so wonderful and hypnotizing, it's fantastic! Every note she plays sounds clear and rich, and the sound of her guitar is also outstanding! ❤👌
You only have two videos on your channel. I hope there's more on the way.
Wow!!! Supreme!!! Goose bumps all over my body. Wonderful performance.
Wow, what a gorgeous performance. This arrangement is very difficult, but you make it sing. Brava!
🙏🏻
Bravo !!

This is the only time I've heard someone play this as well as Dyens himself. Your playing is flawless.

Bienvenue sur cette chaîne 🙂
This young woman, amongst other Millennial-age classical guitarists, says there is hope for their generation after all.
You have totally captured the spirit of fragility and psychotic mood of this work. Spectacular playing.
Thank you so much @danbarnard, I am deeply touched
Incroyable morceau magnifiquement interprété. Hâte de voir les prochaines vidéos ❤️
