Yet, the screen shuts down and goes black instead of going to the restore menu. So now my phone is unconscious and I have no idea what to do :/ Any advice pls?

My Nexus 4 did this. I restarted the bootloader, then went back in & still had the error. I decided to try starting again (it had crashed hard and got bootlooped, so I was trying to clear the cache).. and actually got the Android restarting and loading apps screen. So I assume your hack works on Nexus 4, but it looks like there's another possible work around). QUESTION: Does the error mean I should reflash my recovery? (TWRP)

I got it on my oculus a few minutes ago and it’s very easy to get, all you have to do on your oculus is turn it off, press the power button and volume up button until you see the meta logo but it doesn’t erase your data and plus the light on the oculus will turn purple
It happened to my android after I reset, (volume down and off button) that thing appeared. I didnt know what to do so I did the reset again , and my phone finally opened. No text on screen like that appeared. I just reset it again and instead of the robot, it reset properly
Hey bro, once you get to that no command screen what you want to do is press the various buttons in sequence. For instance, for my phone pressing VOL+ and Power at the same time did not work but pressing VOL+ Then Power did the trick.
hey ricardo..in your description u say that this procedure will fix all android phones & tablets. Well sir, Wrong!! It isnt working on my tablet. Each time i try to wipe data/factory reset, the dead android with "no command" pops up. When i get the menu back dead andr.is still on screen, just dimmed. As soon as i select any option the android pops back on bright. Can u help with this hair-pulling situation please?

On my Blackview 8000, I figured out the problem was that I had a stuck "Volume Up" key. Once I fixed that, the phone went back to normal.
