Rising Storm 2: Vietnam is a 2017 multiplayer tactical first-person shooter video game developed by Antimatter Games and Tripwire Interactive and co-published by Tripwire Interactive and Iceberg Interactive. It is a direct sequel to 2013's Rising Storm and is set during the Vietnam War.

L1A1 has to be one of my favourite rifles of all time. Also its great in RS2
16:54 it's not just you, RS2's devs were very careful with visibility, considering it's a game set in vietnam visibility couldn't be unrealistically good but neither frustatingly bad. I remember PsychoChicken saying once they purposefully made it so players had a slight halo around them to help with visibility, alongside with that you can notice that at a distance the enviorment doesn't really have the exact same colors as the players (so camo isn't really the color of the foliage, the dark on the VC isn't actually the same color as shadowed areas etc) so that instinctively you could differentiate between a plant and a player even at a distance and with low visibility conditions, while still having the impression of being in a dark dense forest area with low visibility.
Squad is the opposite, everything is the same handful of colors, the game is very visually bland and samey so things dissapear right in front of you.

I'm about to monologue and idk if you'll read it all but many years ago there was a news story of a man owning a gun legally and someone broke into their house and they used the gun to threaten the robber, no shots fired or anything and as a result they lost their gun license, that still pisses me off to this day cause regardless of the law if someone breaks into my house and I have a gun it's all out
yeah that museum is great, went there a couple years ago because i live pretty close by
lucky. A family friend told me about it and i've wanted to go for years. I just wish Victoria allowed us to use beefier firearms at designated locations, could bring in some nice revenue which the state kinda needs atm lol

I haven't been able to play RS2 down under is ages....
There is an Asia server that you can get 150-180 ping to and its not too bad. When the SEA server shut, the game died in the south.
SEA, ping is around 140 but it's barely noticeable, mostly a relaxed environment
What game was that in the first couple seconds?
