we have one of these cars, while I completely agree about the lack of cubbies in the front and the TINY glovebox, she forgot to mention that you have underfloor cubbies behind the front seats that we often use. It is also a great car for carrying people in the back considering its size and its pointless complaining about legroom if you've pushed the seats forwards, the whole point is that you can put them forward if you don't need the legroom but need the bootspace.

I've owned a c3 picasso for 7 months and I agree with most of the points she raises; yes it's no sports car and the suspension is soft but so what, a car like this is better for it. I'm 6'3 and have no trouble fitting in it, the 110 diesel engine is a gem and easily achieves 54 mpg overall. Never found cross wind a problem. I needed 1 car that can do it all and this is it; fold the seats down to make it a van, large boot for the dog to get in, all, in the wheelbase of a super mini.

Just to point out some negatives: glove box space is taken up by fuse box (not the case on left hand drive models), fairly tight for your left foot by the clutch, no storage between the front seats. But it has excellent visibility, good economy, I find it has no problem keeping up with traffic on the motorway (perhaps the lower powered models struggle more?). By the way, I'm in my mid 40's so not a pensioner just yet!
I sometimes wonder why I watch these reviews of cars that I will never buy or probably ever see being in the States, and yet, they are just so informative and honestly entertaining. Keep it up.
gibb253 Agree brilliant cat. My only gripe is the limited leg room in the front where anyone 6 feet or taller will struggle even with the seats pulled as far back as they go. But at 70mpg it’s a compromise worth having!
Spot-on review; every positive and negative point is completely accurate. And no pretentious delivery, no false bonhomie, no over-practised witticisms - just professional, personable & very watchable. Very very very watchable... cough.
I bought a Picasso in 2010 ... c3 1.6 HDI 92 hp Airdramon Exclusive ... cost € 21,200 ... I still have today, it was the best decision I made... the car is suberbo, but consumption a little high in the city (Oporto-Portugal) 6.5l/100km...A construction of the car, the handling and comfort are gorgeous. It is the ideal car for young couples and two sons. No doubt of it, if you think an MPV, Citroen is this the best option ... a smart choice.
Having owned 3 xara picassos previously which were brilliant and never missed a beat, i wanted to downsize but try and still keep some of the practicality so i opted for the c3 picasso and it is like a tardis in the xara i could just get my fishing barrow in, However in the c3 i wheel it sraight in with at least just over half a foot spare ?? It never ceases to amaze me how much this car swallows!! On the outside looks quite diddy and narrow and yet when inside seems rather cavenous. Its very comfortable to drive i have the 1.6 hdi diesal 90 bhp and it pulls like a steam train its very quick and i push mine quite a bit on road through bends i think it holds the road very well for the type of vehicle it is, also if you know how to drive its not much difference to a car.Overall its quite fast, its very good on fuel, comfortable and very reliable this is my second c3 picasso to give a fare review on a car you need to have owned one for a while. In reviews they have to give pros and cons etc all cars have these, and its down to budget, personal choice, and needs of the individual.Ive owned all types of cars in my life, i think citreon have a very good range of models some colorful and quirky which i like far better than the plain dull boring offerings from ford like the mondeo. The citreon DS4 in black is just gorgeous lol perhaps ill have one of those next ???
stay away from the picasso auto as its not a normal automatic it lurches as it changes and ive read quite some horror stories ive now changed to a peugot 3008 2.0 hdi 6 speed normal automatic its so comfortable and smoothe to drive totally different class than a c3 but you can only get the normal automatic on the 2.0 diesalnamic it also has stability control and dynamic ride control so you dont get any body roll through corners you can put the 3008 into bends at real speed and it just goes round as though on rolls i have the 163 BHP engine top speed 130 mph so doesnt hang around very smoothe and quiet best car ive ever driven for comfort and road holding hope this helps ???
I managed to fit a complete bathroom suite , bath, panels, sink, pedestal & toilet inside the Xsara Picasso in one go, wouldnt even try for half of that in the C3 pic
I think she was a bit mean about the space in the car. You can't get another car of this size with more passenger space. I'm 6ft 2 and I can sit behind myself with LOADS of head and legroom, it's huge in there considering it's not actually a particularly big car at all. Grown quite fond of our family bus...its useful and very practical.
Its a Citroen. They all have a bunch of character, style and uniqueness, more than virtually any other brand regardless of price. Plus, they're very technologically advanced and lately really hitting the premium segment hard with their quality, especially the DS4 and DS5 models, which have interiors that feel like they belong in some Aston Martin or Bentley, not a small hatchback.
The last, negative point is non-sense, I believe. It wouldn't be surprise to get less leg- for more boot space and other way around. But OK, great car & great review :)
It is very interesting to know the C3 Picasso made in Brazil, that has an old C3/Peugeot 206 expanded plattform, a different dashboard and a few more differences with a higher quality levels. It is configured as something that we could call DS3 Picasso. Beside its competitors is enormous inside and so good lookin'. It has a SUV look-like brother called C3 Aircross, not so nice, but very apreciated in this part of the world
The people who buy them are most of the time in their 60s and 70s because they are easy to get in and out of, so although it is quite an interesting little car it isn't viewed as cool. Here in Scotland however these are pretty rare cars.
Yes, my c3 has the nickname "Fugly" but it's still one of the most versatile small cars around. I guess most of you just don't 'get' Citroen, most are badge snobs or completely closed minded to anything off the wall and quirky.
Carbuyer has great insightful videos. I really do enjoyed their detailed car presentations. I sometimes fantasize that Rebecca and I are exploring the compartments of various vehicles alone, and I ask her to find my banana.
You should drop the floor down to the low setting.Effectively stops this issue,as it creates a lip at the rear of the boot space.Added bonus,it also gives you another 3 to 4 inches of height in the area!
South America had a slightly different version, most notably the rear door with off-center license plate spot and more conservative bumpers. The dash is completely different and it looks worse than this, there’s no digital dashboard or infotainment display. There was as well an AirCross version, with a faux off-road-esque styling and a hanging spare tire on the rear door Overall is a decent vehicle, I like the style, it resembles those cute Japanese kei vans.
I don't get why some car makers think it's a good idea to put the speedo and rev counter etc in the middle of the dash dirtectly out of your line of sight.Citroen,Mini,Toyota in that Etios thing and previous gen Yaris.
Speedo read-out is in digital numerals, about 50mm high!If you can't see that, even slightly offset, then you need an eye test!Because it's off toward centre of the dash,it gives the driver excellent forward vision, and, let's face it,that's more important than watching your bloody instrument panel!
So wonderful this woman. I can watch her driving 24/7. Non the less, didnt get her point about leg room in back, sems to be the biggest amount of leg room I have ever seen, you could fit 15 africans in there.(no racism intented). Even after she moved the seat forward there was plenty of space.
I have another version of this car, (it doesn't have the compartment on the middle chair on the back, and it doesn't have the satnav) but it is one of the best cars I've ever had.
Depending on the road surface you will not hear the radio, it is a very noisy car with mechanical vibes coming through the pedals, Distinct lack of usable storage space
Biased review as usual. French innovation for spacious family transport not racing round bends in. Its a mini mov not a gti.functio over form something that the French are leaders in back as farcas 2cv and berlingos. Copied mpv and mini mpv buy most manufacturers. Renault espace was years ahead. Give credit where its due as a mum with kids this is fab vehicle
Dear Rebecca, It has a distinctive & interesting look, yes...But its the hideous kind of distinctive look. This is mostly who families. What kid would get in a car that looks like something from Monsters Inc ?
Basic model DOES have air-con,but very basic system. If you want full climate control, which also gives you varying settings for each side of the vehicle, you need to pay a bit more, and go up to the Exclusive model,or beyond.
Honestly, some reviews are so stupid. Surely if you put the back seats all the way forward it will reduce leg room, but normal position gives good leg room.

I drive a 1.6 vti and i am very happy with it. 12 years and it drives very good
Citroen should be commended for making such a unique-looking car in this segment. Interesting.
Had the 1.6 petrol, now the 115hp diesel 6 speed. Both excellent. We regularly drive from Italy to Britain and it's a great long distance cruiser.

I kinda like this car. It looks funky and it's cheaper than its rivals.
I love Citroen with my heart!
Rebecca is sooo sweet. And i love this wonderful original oxford english😊
And it a real interesting car

We have had ours 10 years. Great car. Loads of room.
Which engine variant and has it been reliable?
Купил такую машинку, очень довольны. Для семьи самое оно.

Luxury edition! Leather seats.
SHOCK!!! The aluminium trims are actually REAL METAL!! Stick that where the sun don't shine.
Do these sell well in Europe? ... it seems like a quirky/cool ride.
The only reason I watched this video is because of Rebecca. You are very firmly in the positive. :)

I just bought a second hand one, from scotland ;)
my 2nd favorite citreon. my fav is the ds3.
Looks beautiful. I really like it.
And the car looks good as well.

wtf
A great smallpeople carrier!
Saw a report recently from a French auto magazine what you can expect problem wise from its big brother, the C4 Picasso, it was horrendous.
I liked this car so much but it didn't make any sales in my country 😔
BEAUTYFUL!
YES~ C3P the BEST!
The green lime color isn't more avaiable?
Drove this when visiting France, really fast, comfortable, but since I live in the US it feels weird looking at it for the first time
Ótimo vídeo, bastante objetivo. Parabéns!

Indeed. Usually i see it happen over that Mat guy.
One of the negative things about the boot is sometimes when you open it everything comes falling out
You should drop the floor down to the low setting.Effectively stops this issue,as it creates a lip at the rear of the boot space.Added bonus,it also gives you another 3 to 4 inches of height in the area!
I've Just Ordered One In The Exact Same Colour Pearl White and 17 inch wheels, Mine Is The 1.6i VTi Exclusive EGS6
This car has WAY more character than the sea of Corollas, Camries and priuses here in California.
I want that car
I like this review from Reb & Ecca.
was that a glass roof at the end??
all 62 plate cars onwards will have DRLs by law apparently
Soo cute ❤
yes it was

'Shopping in Ikea' Is that what they call it nowadays?
The great thing about the C3 Picasso is that there's so much room for improvement, I Love mine thus far. It's A Classic practical design. 😀
a very good car
Muy bonito el C3 Picasso, también tengo que decir q la chica esta me vende hasta un 127 si quiere, menudos ojazos!

Suzuki Kizashi review please
The desing is very-very similar to C3 AIRCROSS 2010 (South America)
You should have mentioned the panoramic roof :( and maybe the camera man on the midle of the citroen showing the panoramic front stuning view, :(
Should have mentioned the panoramic roof...
So wonderful this woman. I can watch her driving 24/7.

+SumoGambit She is a bit of a cutie isn't she. A racing driver too I read. She ticks all the boxes.
Is there a spare wheel?
Possible you will get either a space saver or a can of foam
Why can't we have Citroens in the US like we used to? The new ones seem much better and this looks like a great competitor to the Kia Soul.
This is way better than a Korean junkbox.
citroen c4 picasso please
Will a wheelchair fit in the boot.
If you dont hav the satnav theres a storage compartment
wow how sesy she moved the gear at 2.04 :)
how is it to drive With the speedometer in the middle? And is there great Space for a Bicycle in the back? Looks good though
Looks great, pity it doesn't drive so well...
I have another version of this car, (it doesn't have the compartment on the middle chair on the back, and it doesn't have the satnav) but it is one of the best cars I've ever had.
My son wants a Citroen c3 passaso
is it just me or are them negatives not really a put you off thing I still want one
Long test drive before deciding
like it! and the car too!!
!
I'll admit I haven't watched any reviews that the guy has done..
I did just to see your point. I then saw taylan ylmazs comment.
another glove box meant only for gloves
where can i get the version with the screen and reverse camera?! ive looked everywhere
Depending on the road surface you will not hear the radio, it is a very noisy car with mechanical vibes coming through the pedals, Distinct lack of usable storage space
Do you have a standard model. Because all the c3's I've been in have been great
No its a near the top of range blu diesel, but I came down from a superb c4 Picasso which unfortunately destroyed its gearbox
3years later half value left, is really a shame Citroen make nice car, diesel engine is bullet proof only electrics is poor
They are slightly popular.
it's no Skoda Yeti
Spare wheel ? .
Dark in boot.
Show us the floating floor closer.
Sod Ikea.
If youre lucky a space saver, if not, a can of foam, petrol variants can just fit a full size in the well

looks pretty....
rebecca i mean...
I love Rebecca
Piękna Kobieta w pięknym aucie.
How could she complain about leg room if she is carrying presents in the back?
Dear Rebecca,
It has a distinctive & interesting look, yes...But its the hideous kind of distinctive look. This is mostly who families. What kid would get in a car that looks like something from Monsters Inc ?
Watch the Dacia duster review. then you'll know what "basic" means
What more can you expect from a (very)basic Renault, built by Romanian farmers?
Silly negative points raised
She is a cutie!!!!
Mi amore
ive driven this car to blackpool on the motorway, its got good acceleration but handles like a tractor and the suspension is crap!
Basic model has air con...I dont know what she's talking about.
Basic model DOES have air-con,but very basic system. If you want full climate control, which also gives you varying settings for each side of the vehicle, you need to pay a bit more, and go up to the Exclusive model,or beyond.
The car looks like Kia Soul.. but the bigger version..
Becks u forgotten the banana again
0:45 she can swallow my luggage lol
who doesn´t? :)
Honestly, some reviews are so stupid. Surely if you put the back seats all the way forward it will reduce leg room, but normal position gives good leg room.
the steering makes you feel like ur driving a bus
Something very wrong with your car, then.I can steer mine with one finger, and I'm an old bloke!
@@dennislane100 I just got one today Dennis gotta collect it tomorrow
Mine is a lot lighter now its on Michelin Cross Climates at the front, quieter too is a bonus
looks like a kia soul
small people carriers? she is a small person..
Woots, seems like I cannot comment anymore. Sorry.
I drive an astra vxr slightly cheaper than a veyron haha
Body coloured door handles? Whoopy-do...
Congrats, you are a maniac!
