My biggest two gripes with this plug are the absence of a de-esser (I'm told this will be a free update) and the inability to just automate a delay "throw." Unless it's implemented under the hood, somehow. I'll still probably get it
@@vagary1926 sorry this is late. Only just saw this comment now. I had to change the buffer size in my daw. I cant remember the exact figures but I remember the number had to double every time so it was like 125, 250, 500 etc but if I went too high my daw wouldn't like it either so I had to find a happy medium
This was their reply to my question You will need to set a fixed buffer size for the session as the reverb is convolution based and requires computation to make adjustments to the impulse. We have only had this reported for FL Studio, our dev is looking into that and shall fix for the next version update release. Here is some info for Cakewalk by BandLab... In Cakewalk by BandLab, go to Edit > Preferences > Audio - Sync and Caching. Try increasing your Playback I/O Buffer Size and Record I/O Buffer Size. Typically you will want to increase these settings in double increments. For example, settings such as 128, 256, 512, 1024 and 2048 are recommended
Is there any hardware out there that might be similar to this? I know tc helicon has some pedals, but really I haven't seen much variety in the market. Or, is there some what of an easy way to use this plugin for a live gig? Thanks!
Would love to know how much latency this plugin adds. I been trying to keep to plugins that add very little latency while tracking. I like to monitor with fx, and plug-ins from slate and some waves plugins add almost no latency. Not sure if your daw lets you know the latency like Cubase pro does. if so could you let us know.
I would trust this review more if you had paid for the plugin. Or even had admitted that you didn’t . Or if you had said what you didn’t like about this plugin. The reverb’s not great and since it’s an “all in one plugin” the reverb should have built in “ducking”. Also, the vocals had more clarity before the plugin was used.
Fluff ! What the hell ? Where is your beanie !?! Because I care about what you are wearing........In your own house......on the other side of the country.......
In this particular instance... I don’t see much of a need for the plugin. I actually felt that the original vocal sounded more “realistic” and less distorted.
This isn't a good demo for the plugin, you can't do a good demo of a plugin and use almost nothing in it, you haven't demonstrated how to use it or hardly any of it's features, you've shown almost nothing of what it can do.
The plugin is GARBAGE. Do not buy it! It may work for absolute beginners but it really, really sucks. The ONLY good thing about it is those 2 types of distortion. But there's NOTHING that can be achieved with other, even free, plugins - and the quality will be WAY better. The worst thing is that they are using an iLok activator which works terrible - my PC had constant issues, my DAW started to become silent randomly, and constant freezing, etc. I removed all that crap and it's ok now but come on. Their refund policy is like, "prove us you really have issues and we MAY give you a partial refund" - oh come on, I don't want to spend my time on all that procedure without even being sure I will eventually be refunded.
Hi! Could you please give some examples of those alternative plugins, both paid and free. I'm looking for a similar effect but I've seen other reviews like yours that have made me doubt the JST plugin. Thank you in advance!
I get it now. To mix good vocals into your song, all you need is: 1. actually good vocals.
:(
This came at the PERFECT time ! Currently working on self producing my debut EP.
Totally wasn’t expecting his vocals to sound like that but that was pleasantly awesome
Train writes bangers and your man Hans did a FANTASTIC job preforming it.
Why does he look so terrified. Is he a hostage? Jk 🤣
Would love to see this with Tony’s vocals
YES
Flluff Rolls out of bed, puts on a flannel and makes a plugin review. No F's Given. #BedHead
No Fluffs given
Josua Stangl I think Fluff needs to start using that lol

Impressive sounds, ever a talented producer you are fluff
Sold!
looks/sounds pretty dope. will look into this more
Not the voice i was expecting out of him. Very surprising and pleasant. I am digging this plugin.
i'm struggling to understand the size of this room. depending on the camera and the angle it's totally different.
What mics were used for acoustic and vox?
As always - nice video/content. What happened? Back to Logic?
GREAT TO SEE HANS!!
I came for the plugin, but what a great voice
That sounds real good! For a 4 track session 👌
I was going to thumbs up this video but you’re at 69 likes and I don’t wanna ruin that.
That song was pretty awesome.
Great vocals!
Thanks for video!
great vocals
What s great performance. Amazing voice!!!! Don't know the song but really nice too.... Oh yeah the plug-in is ok too
What auto tune are you using?
Hons (forgive my spelling) sings like most people would like to . NICE !
Why does my daw crash every time I try to use the "space" knob??!
Mine crashes every time also, even on a totally blank project. Did you find a fix for this?

I emailed JST support and the were super helpful

Coming soon.....JST Richard Benson Guitar plugin.
Shit, you beat me to it.
For a second I thought he was gonna cover Dust in The Wind by Kansas
Thought I was the only one lmao
He's talented
Maybe it's my headphones but I think you could have attenuated a bit in the 200-400Hz area, sounds a tad bit wooly / nasal.
Yeah, man the raw performance of it sounded great though. I didn't know someone from Louisiana watched this channel.
@@robertfinch6602 I am actually from Germany, to the better or worse. :-)

Fluff so nice, he'll give you the beanie off his own dome just before filming a video...
Did ya switch back to logic?
Can some one walk me through the download process, I can’t get anything to run or open
Which My Chem album did he do? I thought Rob Cavallo, Howard Benson, and the Vocalist for Thursday did all their stuff?
Uh they do, It's a Howard Benson plugin. He did three cheers for sweet revenge
That shirt!
Fuck, I don't even care about that demo any more. Just let that dude sing..
Are all of fluff's bassplayers secretly singers? Also, that shirt really makes fluff's eyes look extremely vibrant
As with most mixing/mastering videos, it demonstrates the point that initial capture trumps everything. The plugin is doing almost nothing.
Great vocal performance. Does not need plugins.
it's less about making a performance better, it's more about the track sitting in the mix and making sense with the rest of the song
The plug in makes him sound just like Howard Benson that's amazing
Lies
Wow its budget Leon Todd!
prolly wouldve cut some low end for a better example result. but to each his own.
i need that plugin
I like his voice, kinda folk but I dig it.
Fluff is Franz

Ok
oh I see why Joakim Noah is retiring from NBA, he's now pursuing his singing career. hehe kidding! nice one Fluff!
Hans looks like Kevin Parker from Tame Impala
These types of review vids are terribly difficult to put together and get across what the software is doing. Nice job. Brush your hair, Ryan 😜
Wagwan
And finally fluff uses a normal Mouse
HANS CAN SING?!!
it all sound extremely muddy to me... no clarity what so ever.
yeah he needed to scoop out the low mids just a tiny bit..not a lot
Well, I got it preordered. Thanks Fluff, making me buy stuff... Smh
Fluff, did you just get put of bed? Nice tutorial.
I know it's a test to the plugin but the mic doesn't match the singer.
Fluff ! What the hell ? Where is your beanie !?! Because I care about what you are wearing........In your own house......on the other side of the country.......
Fluff you gotta get some sun man
In this particular instance... I don’t see much of a need for the plugin. I actually felt that the original vocal sounded more “realistic” and less distorted.
hurp
Dude, you sound just like Bert Kreischer 🤣

He looks like a "steroidless" version of Tim Lambesis. Nice voice, though.
Landslide
Sound like a grunge Justin Timberlake
That vocal track increased my estrogen levels.
not sure if that was meant to be a compliment or an insult but I rather like his voice.
Lol
@@KarlClarkeMusic He's singing too softly, in my opinion. He's lacking vocal presence and resonance; and those lyrics aren't my thing.
@@RobertStiles That is what the track calls for though. Anymore and he is over singing for no good reason.
@@RobertStiles true lyrics werent really my thing either but for the lyrics that were there fit the voice imo

I can't even tell what this plug in is doing
