@@MrVafflis You need to look at GDP per capita and HDI not (PPP), (PPP) doesn't count Governmental subsidizes for its citizens, Estonia is among the most generous, N.1 when it comes to child support in world.
For example Taiwan has has (PPP) of 73K and Per capita 34K HDI 0.926, then you look at Denmark for example (PPP) 71K and per capita 66K HDI 0.948.
@@kriskt4754 so there are only child support among the aid? Lithuania has way higher percentage of people on unemployment, disability, etc. HDI is a skewed stat in general. Since it includes stats like life expectancy, the countries with better genetic potential (asians) is ranked higher. Btw, Estonia was a favorite child of USSR and they started in the much better position than Lithuania/Poland/Latvia. And it's clearly visible in GDP. For example, Lithuanians GDP since 2016 grew by 60%, it's quite unbelievable. So, wait couple of year and Estonia will be surpassed by nominal, also

Disagree with Tabaco use in Latvia, ost smokers are dead by this point, you rarely even smell that stuff on the street.
Don't be one of those people that gets their world view about entire countries based on what they personally encountered on the street. That's a very silly line of thinking that ends up producing a narrow minded persona.
And the effects of smoking are not so drastic as to wipe people that smoke out on a large scale, lmao. It just statistically increases your chances of getting certain illnesses by a significant margin. But still, the majority of smokers don't end up catching some deadly disease...
@@mp1335 It's true, old generation and boms only smoke cigarettes in Latvia, it's way below 15%. But, idiots now suck vapes, so you have 15% of new boms incoming in the statistics.
Lithuania has 262 of coastal line, because of the curonian spit
How do you even arrive at this sum?
Official Lithuanian state data:
Lietuvos Baltijos jūros pakrantės ilgis - 90,66 km
This is calculated by taking the edge of land, starting from the southern end of the Lithuanian part of the Curonian spit, to the northern border with Latvia. The only way you could've arrived at a sum close to 262 is by (for some reason) taking the entire coast line and then not only adding the eastern shoreline of the Curonian lagoon(which doesn't make any sense because the Curonian lagoon is an internal body of water, separated from the Baltic sea by the Curonian spit), and then on top of that also adding the part of the Curonian lagoon that is inside Kaliningrad.
I guess that's one creative attempt to nearly triple the size of a coast line on paper, but... no. Tiesiog ne, bičiuli xD

Estonia is best! 👏
cost of living is way higher in Estonia and average salary is basically the same when comparing to other Baltic states, you sure about that?
Not really
Average monthly gross male salary in Lithuania - 1927eur, female - 1697eur. This equates to 1812eur gross monthly wage overall (2022 data). Estonia's average monthly gross wage was 1701eur (2022 data).
Again, 1812eur > 1701eur. Also, cost of living in Estonia is higher.
@@MrVafflis Estonia has had a rough time economically last year but the majority of the time Estonia has been leading. Also, you have to look at the Quality of life index if you want to know which country is better to live in.
@@dr.igormango6489 Life quality index, often is politically influenced, for example it takes into consideration context of the culture and value systems, which is not statistically measurable, so not really relevant.

Lithuania Nord country and beg history
? If you use something like Google Translate to translate from Lithuanian into English, it's best to translate it back afterwards to check it makes sense.
The population of Estonia is actively growing, unlike Latvia and Lithuania, people are leaving Lithuania en masse, not because of a good life, probably.
Lithuanian population is growing too since 2019 you dumb troll.
""people are leaving Lithuania en masse, not because of a good life"" - I did not hear such a bull**it for a long time :) Are you Estonian? Maybe you are leaving to work in Finland and come back each weekend and that doesn't count as "leaving". We don't have such privilege.
