It's been a few months since my first video and that’s because I shipped out to BMT !! I graduated in June and I’m currently still in Technical School, and will be updating as much as possible and sharing videos with you when I can !

Here's a list of things I wonder if you could bring or not, maybe you can say yes or no? :)
1. Ear plugs
2. Moleskin
3. long sleeve/ sweatpants to sleep
4. Do we still have to wear a hair bun??

I don’t see why you wouldn’t be able to bring ear plugs, but I haven’t heard of anyone bringing them. I remember some girls in my flight had moleskin , but they might have bought it while we were there. You will sleep in your PT clothes so you’re not allowed to wear your own clothes to sleep. And no! There’s new hair regulations so if your hair is short enough you can wear a ponytail or a braid(s) !! Thank you !!
Hey. Would you recommend just getting items that’ll last for about 2-3 weeks because they’ll issue us the essentials anyway? Like so far, I literally have a 7 1/2 weeks supply of my soap, toothpaste, mouthwash, shampoo/conditioner, all that. I don’t mind using the soap and stuff they provide, but I need my own preferred face cream and hair care. I’ll take everything back if it’s not needed.
Hello ! You can bring them and store them with you, the issue would be getting them through security at the airport. If you plan on checking in your bag you should be fine, however you can’t bring full size items in carry on luggage

That’s awesome ! Congratulations! I wore just a plain black top and jeans (no holes) when I went with just a plain sweatshirt too.
I'm leaving in 2 weeks and I overthink EVERYTHING!! What did you wear down there (like during the flight)? Also did you go down there with your hair styled?
I went in jeans no rips, black t shirt. I went in just a comfortable hair style, but I put it in a bun before I saw the sergeants. Good luck! You’ll do great !!

That’s awesome ! Something I didn’t mention is a non “smart” watch. So just a normal watch would be a good edition to your packing list. You’ll do great! It’s really not that scary, just listen and do what you’re told and everything will go smooth. Good luck !

I’m so bad a push ups. My chest doesn’t the floor is that normal. How strict was PT with the push ups? I want to enlist ASAP but I’m worried about my push ups
When you are doing push-ups you just need to make sure your elbows break 90 degrees. Take a look at the pt standards and how many you can do, then I suggest just practicing. You will practice a lot at BMT but you want a good foundation.

Yes ! If it’s travel sized face wash I wouldn’t see any reason why you couldn’t bring it.
Can I ask what the Target shorts are for? Do they let you wear them during PT?
They do not. They suggest you bring clothes incase you are quarantined due to covid.
Shawty, why cant I bring band-aids? and do you think I can still pack my apple watch and airpods + charger? obviously cant use them
When I got to basic they threw away my bandaids for whatever reason 🤷🏼♀️ you can bring the watch, AirPods and charger to have after you graduate ! They will just be locked up with your civilian stuff ! 👍🏼
Can your bras have logos?
Where can I get the shaving equipment?
I brought one with me. But there will be a miniBX (just a store) where you can get shaving essentials.

@@Angela-lh3de I honestly loved my time at Sheppard, every training base is just what you make of it, surround yourself with good people and you will always find something to do. 👍🏼
@@its.emilymegan when you were in bmt was there anyone that had any dental procedures done ??
@@Angela-lh3de not while I was at Bmt, that’s something that gets looked at before, dental procedures don’t usually get done while in any form of training but if it’s an emergency I know they’ll do it. A friend of mine had his wisdom teeth removed at tech school.

They issue you towels and flip flops to wear in the shower !
