Stephen is so supportive of Kristin’s career and endeavors. They were talking about HIS music video and he throws it back to Kristin’s career of music videos and lets her talk about her career. Also supportive of her cookbooks.
So ironic that Kristin and Lauren’s dads were neighbors and friends….explains a lot

Lauren and Doug dated when she was in HS (around this LB time) and thats why Lauren loved Casey so much because she was her boyfriends little sister... they again "re dated" in The Hills (which i assume youre talking about when youre saying it was fake for TV)

Lauren and Jason hooking up was a nice surprise as a viewer. But watching them run around that pool made me nervous. They looked like they were about to fall ass up down that cliff behind Lauren's house. Forboding? Lol. They were cute together though...for a while at least.
Lauren was dating Doug (Casey's brother) for part of this season I believe, so that's probably why she's mentioned Casey and filmed that one cafe scene with her.

I understand why Stephen says they always hung out at Lauren’s. The Conrad Compound was definitely the right vibe. Lauren, Stephen, Dieter and Jen seemed like they may have been a fun foursome.
I wonder how long Kristin kept her X5 🤔 The windshield wipers was such a “Clueless” moment 😂 And I love the Teddy Geiger song/video that Kristin is in… “For you I Will” 🥰
Cue “You and Me” by Lifehouse as here is the start of Lauren and Jason’s love saga 😊 Lauren putting a towel around Jason near the pool and Jason picking up Lauren in the hot rod (or his Dad’s)… what a nice dose of spice for this episode. Jason is already smitten, and Talan calling Lauren a keeper… too cute ☺️

I get why they blurred the word beer. To be fair when I first watched the series as a teen I didn’t know ya’ll were drunk a lot. It just wasn’t on my radar in high school. And even though a lot of you were drinking on the show, MTV couldn’t promote that by outright showing it.
Casey is Doug(from the hills) younger sister. Lauren dated Doug in high school I believe.
They even do a short like 2 second clip of Casey at one of Doug’s party.
Taylor swift was a huge one tree hill fan that’s propbably why she wanted Stephen in her video. She also had Tyler Hilton in one of her videos too
I just thought to myself “why wasn’t he in Hey Stephen” 😂 I loved that song and Stephen.

Heidi is saying in interviews that they are great friends, but it seems like Kristin is acknowledging here that Heidi used Lauren for a tv show. I wonder what she thinks about Heidi still talking crap about Lauren on her podcast. Or if she and Stephen have seen Heidi’s podcast in general. Jordan and Brian from season 1 said that Heidi’s dream was always to be as popular as Kristin but it seems like Heidi took it too far
Yep and Heidi also said on her podcast that Kristin told her that the way her and Stephen got Lauren to come on the show was bc Kristin told her that “she called her out” and Heidi went on to say that they both agreed Lauren was just trying to save face.
I don’t believe Kristin would throw Lauren under the bus like that. Heidi is a psycho

Maybe she was trying to stay neutral. Heidi claims they are still good friends but it seemed like they were implying that Heidi was taking advantage of Lauren to be on The Hills (at 28:20). They didn’t really paint Jen Bunney in a good light either. Also The Hills podcast that Heidi is doing is a competitor of theirs
I dont think Kristen is best friends with Heidi as Heidi claims or else Kristen would have said something like I love Heidi or we still talk now and then. It did sound like they were implying Heidi took advantage of Lauren. I hope they listened to "was it real" and hear all the smack they talk about lauren. I was so annoyed when a caller called in and asked about Lauren being on back to the beach and Audrina claims she spoke to Kristen and Kristen said she called Lauren out and Lauren was saving face. Like what? I don't believe anything that comes out of the hills podcast.

I don’t think Kristin wants to align herself with Heidi because of the backlash the other podcast is getting. And because she knows Heidi is nuts 😂

Idk anything about their relationship as friends, but I feel like Stephen never misses an opportunity to throw shade at Kristin. Bringing up the whole cheating with Talan thing again, calling her Regina George, pointing out how Talan called her stupid. Just seems mad passive aggressive and makes me feel bad for Kristin
I feel like it's in reaction to Kristin constantly bringing up other guys in her topics eg Talan/Sam or when her ego gets too big and she starts boasting. He then pulls her down a peg which she needs!
@@ell4875 If you notice though it’s not really Kristin who brings them up. For instance, she never brought up Talan or Sam. It was Stephen who brought up Talan this episode. Just seems like he consistently throws small digs at her and it doesn’t seem fair when she doesn’t do that herself when she very easily could.

A couple of them do. Lauren moved back, Stephen said in their reunion he was living just outside of LB but I don't know if he still does, and I know a few others have mentioned they moved back.

I could tell when I watched this episode recently that the part when the girls are in Kristin's car and it wouldnt start that it was fake.
I can't even imagine cameras on me with my fiance who I've been with for 4 1/2 years at 35 years old let alone a first date at 18 or 19! Where were their parents? Lol. I just can't imagine letting my daughter do this with having absolutely no control over how they would edit things or how she would be portrayed.

NGL, I would tune in w/out a second thought even just to hear them talk about S3 LB, as I didn't even watch it. Who wants to watch LB minus our queen, Kristin, but I would tune in to hear their recap. Kris was on The Hills, and they know Lauren, so that works for me.
Their chemistry is just as strong but mature now, well, at times mature, more on her part. 😂😂😂
