This album was my Saturday house cleaning records. Baby on my hip, dancing in the kitchen while I cleaned. Thank you for bringing back those memories from 50 or so years ago
Oh! You’re such babies! I remember summer and going swimming; sandwich picnics in the back yard and water fights with the water hose. I couldn’t be more than 8 or 9. Good memories. ❤️
I watched one of those great PBS productions of popular rock from the 60's & 70's, and was pleasantly surprised to see the Chi-Lites perform this precious melody -- which is my all time favorite soul song. Mr. Record had recently passed away, not long after appearing on the telecast. To see him sing this just as beautifully as he did in 1972, tears came to my eyes. I will never forget the final line " have you ever seen such a helpless man ..."
Brings back memories for sure, this group were all over the airwaves in the UK back then. Perfect group for having on the car cassette player or 8 track, when you were driving around with a lady and hoping for some romance time later 😁
I so remember slow dancing to this in High School. Teacher walking around making sure there was some space between us. Kept hearing "Back up a step son." Look down into her brown eyes, not gonna happen. I swear, Carroll was so hot, these days they'd blame her for Global Warming. Her besty LeAnn was known to have started a few fires of her own as well. White boy on a motorcycle and black girl from the school choir, the 70's was a great time to be alive. Thank you Motown.
This was meaningful music. It was about experience in life. Sad today's music is dummies down so bad. No meaning but the street hood reality of today. This is about a time life was hard but people still loved each other. Oh girl. A true classic so ng for all generations
Al Green...Bee Gee Cover..." How Can You Mend a Broken Heart " 1972 live soul...make sure right video, because it's a Experience!!!! Since your going old school... Enjoying your Channel
I'm not sure, are you guys not familiar with the old R&B music? I'm a 66 yr old White Feller who loves my old school Rock and Roll, but I also love my old school R&B! I've always been a sucker for sad/romantic type music any genre it doesn't matter. Could you please react to "In The Rain" by The Dramatics. It's a great song as there are so many R&B songs. I noticed someone in the comments suggested "Have You Seen Her" another great song. Love you Two. 🤗🤔😎💯

OMG, this song is giving me flashbacks of the 70's! 😁 I believe this song was on a K-Tel compilation of current hits album that I owned as a kid.
God, how I love this song. I'm so happy I was born in 1952. The timing allowed me to be alive during the great hits of Motown!!!!
I was born in 66 and agree 100%! Peace from Northern Michigan.
Yes indeed I lived in Chicago and got to attend their concert in 1971
Pure 70s Chi-Lites magic, the brilliance of this great song never fades .....
Along with Styistics, Spinners and Manhattans. My fave soul groups from the 70's

The Chilites. Had it going on back in the day.
Makes me think of the late James Gandolfoni as he mentioned this song in The Sopranos
My favorite song by The Chi-Lites is Have You Seen Her. You haven't heard the Chi-Lites to you heard that song.
