Great segment guys, that Jordan Kobe part was a good analogy for the embriid leadership situation.
As a philly fan, it isn’t BUT it all depends on this offseason.
Does harden step up and get in shape this offseason?
Is Tobi traded and for what ? 3rd star (rather not) or more role and 3 n D players?
Do we upgrade literally everything on bench?
So many question marks that it’s such a toss up if it’s close or not
They’re kind of stuck in no-man’s land, too good for the lottery but too mid for contention. (Similar to the Mike Conley grizzlies)

Depends on what they do with harden. If you sign and trade to say like a wizards, pelicans, etc and get better shooters and role players to pair with maxey and embiid they can get better
Idk if I’d go that far but the Sixers I think just need a few bench pieces and to rearrange the roster construction to get right back to the top.
As far as Doc rivers goes his lack of being able to adjust has hindered us but not to the extent others have been suggesting. He’s done a okay job with the Sixers in his tenure and realistically there are no other coaches that you can honestly say are better on the current market rn.
If hardens game 4 performance showed us anything it’s that his former level of play is still inside. It may come out less frequently but I think once the Sixers recoup and Embiid/Harden get to gel and heal together the Sixers could still be a top team to watch in the East.
This off-season will be crucial and I hope the Sixers can make some moves to improve our contention in the league but to say we’re “mid” is a bit extreme

CP3 he made the finals last year having yet again one of the best regular season records in NBA history.
I'd say CP3. At least Harden has the excuse of him and Joel being injured. CP3 was healthy, had a healthy Booker, Healthy Ayton, and a better Coach with Monty Williams.
Honestly harden makes wayy too much money not to mention what Philly gave up to get him. I don’t know if the window is completely closed but there are other teams in the east that will still be good next year. Embiid had Covington whos a glue guy imo, there’s not many tuckers or smarts or draymonds.

Picking a needle out of a haystack here but 18.5 margin of victory only the case because of the one 35 point loss while joel was on the court. If we’re being honest cuz of his injuries joel was one of if not the worst players on the court in the last two losses
