A GT car is able to do nearly every day to day thing well or exceedingly. In the McLaren, can you have a massage while hooning down the autobarn, with minimal road noise. And I'm a fan of McLaren. Just give Bentley their title and give McLaren their participation trophy.
Most supercar companies have produced models that caught fire. I'm a Ferrari fan. And I remembered there were numerous cases where the 458 Italia caught fire. Ferrari had to make a recall to address the problem.

Bentley is luxury and CONFORT (what you actually want in a grand tourer) Mclaren GT doesn't even know what it is.. It's much more of a sports car than grand tourer.. The seats are super uncomfortable after an hour driving
I notice the Bentley has got winter tyres on it and it is obviously winter and the tarmac is wet also, so giving the four wheel drive car the edge again, you should really re-run that drag race in the summer on a dry track with both cars on summer tyres, it would be fairer.

For an old man who has owned a lotus esprit and a Ferrari Testarossa. Who now lives with an occasionally driven first gen Bent GT. The GT is the best overall comprise. Just so damn complex and expensive to repair.
mclaren is just a race car with a GT suit on. The bentley is a proper GT. The way it shot off the line shows just how much torque that engine in the bentley makes, whereas the mclaren needs to rev like crazy (which for a GT car is not a strong point) to deliver.
If you enjoy a more focused drive experience it’s the McLaren , it’s a different take on a GT car. It’s aimed at a costumer who wants the feel feed back of a more focused driving experience, but doesn’t want the full on super experience, the Bentley is less driver focused experience, in terms of feed back etc it really depends what suits you more , there’s no wrong or write. Driven owned both cars, currently on a McLaren , which has been trouble free , just incredible to drive 👍

Continental is more luxurious, better looking, more comfortable to be in and more than enough fast and agile for long road trips. It is also made by WV so it will not brake every few days like the McLaren.
It should be the V12 in the Bentley but in reality, a V8 is enough to win each traffic light race against a not so luxurious stripped out GT. That`s impressive!

With dry conditions I don’t think it would be as close. The McLaren is just so much lighter. The weight of the Bentley I’d think actually help of the lie with its AWD.
One is a 4 seater (occasion seating) GT car built to last 100 years the other is a fragile, very over priced awkward looking midlife crisis on wheels. It's not a grand tourer. Had several contintals now. Used them to travel all across Europe for business and pleasure for over 10 years. Quicker than flying. You do need the W12 as it will give you 700 bhp with only a remap. Bentley is the best GT ever, full stop. Ps a BMW M8 is a true GT car so maybe put that up next time.

You get the Bentley if you want a true gt car that has luxurious features like the Mercedes s class coupe or the bmw 8. however if you want a super car that is exotic and also comfortable for Daly drive, then you get the McLaren gt. Because let’s be honest, the Lamborghini or the koenigsegg aren’t daily drive cars, you can drive them here and there but use those things to drive to work every day and you’ll get fed up one day. Suspension is hard and cabin noise is loud. Imo the McLaren gt is my favorite supercar of all, because it has that exotic design but also that comfort that most super cars don’t have. McLaren does the best job in making supercars that are suitable for some daily usage, in which the gt excell the most
If I where to choose from the both of them, I think I'll just take the Mclaren 1. Looks way better then Bentley 2. Faster 3. Makes you look rich 4. Does not make you look old, unlike the Bentley
In my opinion the McLaren doesn‘t look like a GT at all. More like a „cheap“ supercar (compared to the looks of other McLaren models) with less sound and power. That‘s the reason why the Bentley wins this one for me. That plus the McLaren doesn‘t even come close to the comfort/ looks of the Bentley‘s interior.
You only got advantage of the 4x4 that’s why you was quicker in the beginning. Maclaren is a show car and can not be four wheel drive to be able to do a little drift show, doors open up ext ext but in overall if you want to beat Maclaren in the end you should have V12 supercharged as all the comments state because you will have almost same start but later the speed will go up like crazy!!!! More torque as well!!
Driving a rwd against an awd on a wet track seems odd. The mclaren is obviously faster. The bentley is more luxurious. It depends on what you like to say which one is better.
I do love that Bentley! Especially with a w12, however that wouldn't have been as evenly matched I guess... McLaren really should have paid that few extra quid for the steering wheel to match... aside from that it's a pretty machine.
The McLaren has a 1500lb weight advantage with around 70 more hp, what the hell you think was going to happen lol. Put it up against aston Martin's DB11 for a better race.

The mclaren is obviously faster. The bentley is more luxurious. It depends on what you like to say which one is better.

The McLaren has a 1500lb weight advantage with around 70 more hp, what the hell you think was going to happen lol. Put it up against aston Martin's DB11 for a better race.
