I tried an upload but it was locked when i log into the controller. it was only unluck the option to download. The m221 was opperating normaly. What could be the problem.
1. If source code not available in PLC then in future you can't upload the program. 2. If source code download in PLC then everyone able to get that program.

This is a thirdparty program . Is it possible to lock the program so that upload is not possible and is there anyway we can read from the memory card. I have a backup in my memory card . The thing is we need to update the program at site due to some additional requirements .
Friends, don't lie to people when they can't upload with modicon 241 plc from scheider. I guess I know about that. And the producer confirmed that uploading is not possible!! From 221 it is possible, if the developer allowed you.

Nothing was wrong.. Just programmer disable the facility to upload.. Download is possible.
Excuse me, if you have a complete proyecto with a HMI and PLC , and you want to make an upload only from the PLC; You would do a source upload???

Also it's not compulsory to download the source code.. I just show the procedure.
