CP affects catch probability too. If it’s lower CP in its range excellent throws aren’t always best. Low CP in its range even 6 excellent throws in a row won’t catch sometimes. Nice or great throws aren’t always bad in this case. Closer to hundo cp more important to get excellent throws. And really helpful once you get your bonuses to platinum level for that type of Pokémon
