Much love to Caroline & Jeff, respect their decision to do what they felt was best for them at the time regardless of any backlash and money loss and I respect their decision if they choose to participate in the games this year. We don’t know to know their reasononing, they have a right to nativigate this messy situation however they see fit and make decisions and change their minds dependant on what is best for them at the time and for their future. Caroline pleaded twice, at least, for alternative events to give athletes options. Presumably, she meant options other than competing in the Games season. I'm taking from this that those who want to go rogue and abandon the Games have got nothing at all lined up. At the very end, Caroline says, "Hopefully this season doesn't tear us apart, doesn't break away the bonds of the community." My word. Games athletes have now tried to take out two of the most beloved figures in CrossFit. In many cases, the very same athletes were involved in both. Go pound sand. You're the ones breaking the bonds of the community, with your incessant demands that CF provide you something it is not equipped or organized to provide: your precious professional sports league. Looks like you'll finally recognize what should have been obvious years ago. You're going to have to do it yourself. Stop whining about CF and go build it. I doubt though that Caroline was even referring to the broader CrossFit community. Seems equally likely she was just referring to the community of Games athletes. She was hoping decisions made by athletes to compete in the Games or not doesn't tear apart the Games athlete community. Honestly, I hope you're all at each others throats all season. For the lulz. You people are just not that important.

But they are still that important that you watch and listen to this for 32 minutes? Did you watch Rogue, the games, all the podcasts? You sacrificed hours and hours just to listen and watch athletes or conversations about the sport. Yet here you are claiming: they are not important. Come on man. The sport is nothing with the affiliates, no doubt about that. But alot of people, if not most, are in the affiliates because they watched the sport. That‘s certainly the case for me. Let‘s put it simple: we need to strengthen both, the affiliates and the sport.
