- If you’ve been following aviation news over the past few months, this news won’t be too surprising:
European aircraft manufacturer Airbus, has released its orders and delivery figures for the first three months of 2024. The plane maker delivered more than 140 planes in the first quarter, in contrast to Boeing’s double-digit deliveries in the same time period. Most will know that this is due to the fact that Boeing is in deep crisis following its 737 MAX aircraft issues. The planemaker is struggling to catch up with its rival across the Atlantic.

@@KoLon20589okay then ... List those innovations that Airbus leeched from Boeing.
Loser
Okay, ... poster deleted own post .... wow 🤦🏻♂️
@@rexfordluke1480 For example, the mass-production machinery and operations for producing carbon-fiber parts (787) that Airbus has also used for their a350
@KoLon20589 🥱 ... okay, so which of the two aircraft manufacturers began usage of carbon composites on their products?
Time for A330Neo to shine.
Underrated Jet
A330neo will keep picking up orders
Overrated ...
Overrated jet
Some say the A330neo will get 40 more orders this year after VietJet and Starlux ordered in early this 😉
Literally it is its time to shine.
Airbus has many great features going for it.
1) Better safety reputation vs. Boeing in the last 5 years.
2) Solid work culture of engineering excellence and safety consciousness.
3) Cockpit commonality between different type certification airplanes.
4) Stringent quality control and quality assurance practices.
5) Actually owns, operates, and administrates their many supply chain vendors
Wish Boeing still had all these features.
Also,
6. Airbus plans are more comfortable for passenger. More quieter cabin.
7. Spacious seats.
8. Window side passengers won't get neck pain since the windows are positioned higher.
Boeing Ceos' were just too greedy with Money and neglected safe and genuine innovation for their company.
@@RamakrishnanSRM Boeings are that too
Boeing does have most of these features.
Better safety reputation still remains despite the two crashes meaning its not repetitive
Solid work culture of engineering excellence and safety consciousness will improve
cockpit commonality between different type certification aircraft they still have
Stringent quality control and quality assurance practices dont exist that much in airbus but still is consistent
Airbus still struggles with supply chain vendors.
Wish Boeing would be better towards the end of the year lol
@@nickolliver3021man what safety reputation
My reaction: honestly not surprised
Airbus about 47 planes per month … very impressive 👏🏽
Boeing has not been profitable for 5 years - despite the subsidies via the military.
Well, the tanker contract í kinda out
It shows the lack of confidence customers have in Boeing

The staff at Airbus are clearly better off, they are clearly provided with work clothes, but at Boeing, the people are clearly not provided with work clothes, everyone wears their own clothes.
Average W for airbus
Simple flying is the best aviation news channel. No bias between Boeing or Airbus. Just the facts. I'm actually surprised the Boeing numbers fell by that much. What's more surprising is that 737 max aircraft are still being delivered.
but they can't use them. They are grounded
No they are not grounded

Thats good news
Meritocracy. I've got no problem with this.
I’m still speculating that what sort of Supply chain Issues are being faced by the plane makers while much of the suppliers to these companies are same. So where’s the problem coming from?
Very good,
nice!
In other news, water is wet
Who bought the 3x 767s?
Boeing will be back though. They need to get back to the standards they worked at for decades.
It might be time to start thinking about the 8x8 series of planes
When?
I would agree, IF they went BACK to the STANDARDS of Old Boeing. With 'management' at the moment -don't think any new aircraft would be safe.
✈️
Now, Airbus rules! :)
They've been dominating
Airbus has long dominated the world market. Boeing has only ever dominated the US market. That also seems to be changing.

Why is everyone so anti Boeing that they have become water boys/girls for Air Bus?
It's more about being anti-american...they love to hate on us until they need our help.
I'm sick and tired of everyone blasting Boeing everyday. Airbus has got issues too. Look into their business practices also, not just Boeing's.
Wake up, whistle blowers committing suicide, even though he told his family before hand he had NO intentions of committing suicide-so he knew what was coming.
and now another whistle blower talking to Sen. Hawley about 787 not safe? Do you think he will be alive in the next few weeks?

Don’t tempt fate.
Warning: Airbus shouldn't feel too successful! It often created negligence!
European already learn that
@@muhammadhanifkurnaen6689 every country where airbus is made of has learnt that quite weird
Who cares about what Airbus did.
Oh dear, some else who is deaf and blind.
Boeing!!
Airbus producing more planes than Boeing shows that Airbus planes are lower quality & more prone to crashes and accidents, due to rushed production, making them less safe than Boeing who take more time in handcrafting & testing each planes safely.
😏😏😏
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
My reaction is Airbus make safe planes that give airlines the comfort that their passengers are safe to fly on and that's why Airbus kicks Boeing bud fare and square. You go Airbus.✈🛫🛬💝💞💗
