  • If you’ve been following aviation news over the past few months, this news won’t be too surprising:
    European aircraft manufacturer Airbus, has released its orders and delivery figures for the first three months of 2024. The plane maker delivered more than 140 planes in the first quarter, in contrast to Boeing’s double-digit deliveries in the same time period. Most will know that this is due to the fact that Boeing is in deep crisis following its 737 MAX aircraft issues. The planemaker is struggling to catch up with its rival across the Atlantic.

    Airbus has many great features going for it.
    1) Better safety reputation vs. Boeing in the last 5 years.
    2) Solid work culture of engineering excellence and safety consciousness.
    3) Cockpit commonality between different type certification airplanes.
    4) Stringent quality control and quality assurance practices.
    5) Actually owns, operates, and administrates their many supply chain vendors
    Wish Boeing still had all these features.

    • @RamakrishnanSRM
      @RamakrishnanSRM 13 дней назад +13

      Also,
      6. Airbus plans are more comfortable for passenger. More quieter cabin.
      7. Spacious seats.
      8. Window side passengers won't get neck pain since the windows are positioned higher.

      Solid work culture of engineering excellence and safety consciousness will improve
      cockpit commonality between different type certification aircraft they still have
      Stringent quality control and quality assurance practices dont exist that much in airbus but still is consistent
      Airbus still struggles with supply chain vendors.
