Real friends are so far in between.you.can' t.touch each other, they.are street family, out of sight out of mind, they'll run onto each other in prison, so now they take streets into prison, no win win.
theyll make friends in prison unfortunately, humans adapt to any situation and eventually, they will be comfortable enough to relax and go through their day to day routine. Isolation would be a better punishment.

The problem is most of these dudes really never had a shot to begin with, they are really just products of their environment. Check the back story for most of these guys and it will probably be the same - raised in the hood/ghetto/projects by a single mother. Raised in terrible environments by completely unfit mothers. Their fate is literally written before they are even born. It does happen, but generally the story of these guys is not that they were raised by two great parents in a middle class neighborhood. This is the product of decades of Black people divesting from the nuclear family.
I respect that officer for saying what he said during the interview about drill rappers. Violence is bad, music isn’t.

This sucks as a black male this makes me sick. There’s so many ways to make money and to grow. I’m really happy because my mother left and my dad stayed to raise us.
