I really like how Ian Flynn wrote the dynamic relationship between Sonic and Amy, it truly feels like their character development is slowly evolving. Dude should be the head writer for every future Sonic games

Because like I mentioned, namedropping tangle and sticks was not for character or story reasons. Just gratuitous fanservice!
My personal conspiracy theory is that the reason those idle animation dialogues are so hard to get is because Ian was gonna walk if he wasn’t allowed to put in Sonamy. So that was the compromise. Ever since she was a little girl she had a huge belief in destiny and using those tarot cards she considered her fate to be pretty much set in stone "She will marry a brave powerful hedgehog who's name start with an S"....And she really believes this is her future and that it will most definitely happen. it makes you wonder how her life would play out had she not read those cards...would Amy still run into Sonic, would she befriend any of his friends, she would be as adventurous as she is now? Where would our little Amy Rose be now had she not read into her own fortune years ago?

To be honest I’m fine with both because I see Sonic and Amy as being friends with crushes on each other. I also found this on the Internet. Honestly I like both ships, my favorite is Sonamy but Sonally is cool to. I like the fact that this comic shows both of the ships in a conflict free way because I am so used to seeing people get at each other's throats over these to ships and it's just refreshing to see a peaceful view of them. But yeah I'd say I love Sonamy, relate to them a lot, and I ship them heavily in the mainline universe, but I don't mind Sonally and them in the Archie universe.
To be honest, as much of a hopeless romantic and sucker for SonAmy as I am, as a child of the 90s and lover of originals I like Sonally just as much. I honestly wish there could be a universe crossover type thing so we could have both at once; (two Sonics, each in their respective relationship, but in the same universe so everyone could finally have closure and be satisfied. King Sonic and Queen Sally ruling the Kingdom of Acorn, and Hero Sonic and Amy protecting it. If I was an animator, I would definitely make a show like that: Picture Sonic Prime but Traditionally animated and featuring the Archie/SatAM universe, Underground Universe, Game/Sonic X universe, and Boom universe. Comics like this give me hope that such a thing could be possible, and I hope maybe one day I can be part of it.

I feel the same way. My hatred for her stem from her portayal in the 2000s and especially in the Sonic X english dub. Amy back then was unbearable to sit through (for me at least). I'm now happy with the approach Sonic Team has given her since Lost World.
Pretty sure it's confirmed that Amy will be in the third movie along with Big Cat or whatever, but I wouldn't mind a small Easter egg of Sally somewhere. Idea: Sonic peruses a humorous dating app filled with different female animals from the games and stops at Sally's profile when Amy catches him and starts chasing him with her hammer.

Although Amy is part of the story in that game, there are more important characters that need introduction for that plot, like Rouge. In a way, I kinda want to push her possible debut back a bit so she has an adequate role for her starring movie.

I love the Archie comics. My favorite characters are of course the og freedom fighters (Sally Acorn, Bunnie Rabbot, Antoine D'Coolette and Rotor the Walrus), Sonic's Uncle Chuck aka Sir Charles Hedgehog, and Tails' dad Amadeus Prower. Great voicing as always💖

Sally is more im the planning and organizing side as well as things to be taken seriously. They do the same tasks ans seem similar but are different in a different way.
