Thanks for your question. I personally don’t differentiate between seens, memory’s or blinds, a retrieve is a retrieve and through my training my verbal command of “fetch it” just tells the dog there is something to find. Also as I work spaniels I do always “indicate” the direction I want them to go as more often than not they have stopped away from me whilst hunting unlike one of the retrieving breeds that are more often than not sent from the handlers side.
