How to Copy Page Setup to Other Worksheets in Excel
Page setup in excel is a powerful feature and it is used regularly. For professionals it’s a must. Page setup is used to format appearance or your worksheet when printed.
Usually, you need to setup your page for printing on each worksheet. But the problem is what if you have 50 worksheets on your workbook and 13 of your worksheets need same setup for printing. Or let’s say all 50 of your worksheets need to be setup in the same way for printing. Now this is not feasible to setup each worksheet manually. So, in this intermediate excel tutorial, I’ll demonstrate an excellent trick that will allow us to setup one page and copy that page setup to multiple worksheets or even each worksheet on our current workbook.
The procedure to copy page setup to multiple worksheets is simple. Just setup one of your worksheets properly. Once your page setup is complete, Press Control and select the worksheets where you need to copy your page setup for printing. Now click on the page layout tab and click on the page setup launcher box from the lower right corner of page setup menu group. You can also press Alt + P + SP on the keyboard to go to page setup dialogue box. Now simply click on Ok and done. All your selected worksheets will be using the same setup for printing.
Now if you need to copy the same page setup to all your worksheets on your current workbook, you need to just select all your worksheet by right-clicking on any worksheet name and then click on “Select All Sheets”. The rest of the procedure stays the same.
