Great job as always. Unfortunately, although Microsoft brags about the feature, the only thing you can do with an iPhone is send a webpage from the iPhone to the Windows PC. To do that you have to install edge on your iPhone. What a waste of my time. Still grateful to know about the feature so I can help others who have android phones. Thanks as always.
Sam, please tell me what you use as an iPad that is so large? I just bought a 12.9 iPad 2021. But it doesn’t look like that BIG iPad you hold up. Please let me know how you got such a huge iPad? I have glaucoma AND wet macular degeneration. I used my 10” iPad all the time because I can’t see my 55” unless I sit about dinner plate away from it. With my Ipad I can sit in my recliner and move my screen as close as I need. I’ll be checking back to hear from you. Thanks Sam I just found your site about a month ago and love it.

@@theblindlife Thanks Sam. It does seem that the screen makes things look larger. I just purchased a12.9 2021 iPad Pro, so that is what I am using most times now. I love the size of the screen and it really helps seeing everything without blowing it up so large I have to move the screen around to see it. My only complaint is it is very heavy for me. I might mention here that I am 70 years old and have Rheumatoid arthritis as well as osteoarthritis which cripple my hands, so the advantage of the 10.7 size iPad was that it was much easier for me to maneuver. I guess that’s the trade-off right now. Thanks again Sam for answering me so quickly. I receive all of your notifications now and look forward to each posting. Have a good day.😀

The question I have is do you know how to troubleshoot one computer from another? When I have computer challenges with my laptop and I am not near my husband it is great if he can troubleshoot and help me solve them if he is not right next to me.. I would think some type of program that would allow your husband to remote into your computer would help in the situation. Something like team viewer. He would be able to access your computer from his computer.
I have a suggestion info video about Windows 11, I know when new updates come out sometimes soon text or other programs Take 6 months to be compatible with new versions of Windows to something to check. So one of the videos to make next is new features in Windows 11, accessibility and changes that affect VIPs
God bless you I was just traveling through RUclips and ran across your video with having surgery in 2 weeks but need a way I can use I don't know how to set it up because I can't see it I rely on my phone for everything and dark mode because we talk back and assistant of an older Toshiba laptop TalkBack and dark mode on my laptop severe glaucoma very little eyesight you so much 59 year old grandma
It is accessible with JAWS and NVDA, although the settings categories for the Your Phone application itself all say "not selected" with NVDA, even after pressing enter on them, I don't think space works to select them. You just have to press tab to see which category is selected if you aren't sure. I can't figure out how to get to Apps button with a screen reader. You can use the Alt+1 through Alt+4 keystrokes to jump between Notifications, Messages, Photos and Calls respectively, which is nice. I saw the comment about using Dex to have Screen Reader access to the Apps on the phone, now if somebody could tell me how to get to that Apps button, I could use this to its fullest potential. No thanks to Apple for locking their OS down to the point where you have to use a paid software solution to accomplish anything like this.

I would make sure to go into the settings of the your phone app to see if that needs to be enabled. Also make sure your computer is linked with your phone. There should be a quick toggle in your pull down notification panel.
It could be that the type of phone you’re using doesn’t allow that feature. Apparently Samsung lets you do more than other phones, like the Google pixel for example.

You never answered my email asking to see a video showing the internet on the blindshell classic using the browser.. can you answer my email please.. i contacted the company .they say it has the internet but I have never seen it... thanks man.
Sorry about that, I didn’t receive your most recent email. I haven’t seen the phone since December of last year, so don’t know if they’ve updated it. The last time I saw it, it did not have a mobile browser. I will see if I can get more information on this.
@@theblindlife great news .. the local C.N.I.B. here called me back and i heard the phone over the phone go onto the internet...yay.. we are booking a appointment to go to the big city to see a demo on the unit with the rep who sells them.. its the latest version literally months old.. thanks for all your videos and help chasing this down..if we buy it i will report back about it..F.Y.I. The unit costs around 500 dollars Canadian plus taxes..

Are you sure this app works for the iPhone? I went through the steps described and the app only mentions Android.

Ah, this answers my earlier question, I have a Pixel 5A, not a Samsung, so that's why I don't see that button or anything about it in settings.

I think it is neat that Microsoft has allowed users to access their phone on windows... Too bad this doesn't work well with iPhones...
I believe that it It’s only meant for android I tried connecting my iPhone to it and it wouldn’t do anything
