Great review. Your channel is unique in that it’s narrated in Cantonese but with English CC. Helpful for my limited ability (ABC 😅).
Based on other video reviews, do you find it reporting fast cars most of the time? Based on comments, it wasn’t designed for US car speeds in mind.
I have the Garmin Varia and there’s a distinction between regular and fast approaching cars.

On my Wahoo I noticed the different alert tone for closer, faster cars. I do think this can work with US car speeds because it can sense anything moving between 6-85 mph. It would be a rare situation for cars coming behind you over 85 mph while you’re already in motion, that means the car might be traveling close to 95-100 mph, that only happens on interstate highways. And if there is really ever a maniac doing such speed on regular roads I bet you can hear the engine from far away.
Honestly this thing is like a clone to the Varia, I ride with people that runs thr Varia on the same model of Wahoo and we have the same exact detection timing. In fact one rider thought the L508 was the new Varia (camera).
我用佢連接Garmin edge 530 的雷達+尾燈，但再連接埋Garmin嘅頭燈之後，2隻燈嘅連接好似打交咁狂連狂斷，最後只好放棄尾燈連接碼錶，只連接雷達功能 🤣

原裝的安裝配件不適宜放在背包後面但係L508是用同一款Garmin的轉頭。你可以上網購買俾Garmin用的背包扣。淘寶都有好多選擇。

後面一定要有物件超過你10公里的速度跑向個尾燈先會有警告。 你真係想試可以攞個尾燈連接碼錶或電話裏面的運動app 然後將盞尾燈對住條馬路就會有反應。

以香港平均尺寸，我覺得會有難度。 點會搵到一條走廊夠長俾你跑到咁快😅。 除非你住低層可以將個雷達對住條馬路有車經過就算係90度角都會有反應。

I googled 420 specs and it does support radar lights. It should be able to pair with Magene L580.
I use Varia one, I used to had the magene but drain my garmin and wahoo battery pretty quick, I bought another magene the same thing happened and having trouble to detect car going really fast 🥲
Really? I’m going to have to give this more time, it doesn’t drain my Wahoo any faster that I’m aware of. But I ride on roads with very little traffic, maybe that helps?
